Headline undersells how he did this during the 90’s during the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell era. Was not nearly as socially or politically acceptable then as it is now in the US to do that.

And not just for one person, he was the facility adviser of a gay-straight alliance club

The more I hear and read, the more it really does seem like this election is going to be "Are you a kind decent person, or a hateful selfish douche?"

If we want kind decent people to win, we still have to fight for them to win. Vote, get involved! Talk to people you know to do the same

Find how to register to vote for where you are

Find opportunities to volunteer for events around you

ya, think of what kind of lawyers win,

kind lovely lawyers,

or cut-throat lying lawyers who will do anything to win

Not that there was before, but there's really no excuse as to why Trump's polling numbers are still so freaking high. He should not have more than 20-30 percent, tops. Really paints a grim picture of the American society as a whole.

There is no excuse, but there is a reason: Lots of people really like hateful, selfish douchebags.

Spite. They love spite. And they cherish unfounded fears.

I think it shows exactly what our culture is. It's what Europeans and others think it is. Selfish privileged jerks
