I mean the way people are born affects their ability to compete in sports.

But what about stories where human(oid) can vary in scale in intensity?

What if you're a mutant who's only slightly faster than average to the point where it's negligible compared to the norm?

What if the juggernaut tried out for the NFL?

Were there stories that discussed ideas like that in a meaningful way?

I guess sports venues are more used as a 'baseline' to show off comic book characters' powers but I don't recall any stories about the venues themselves adjusting to it, feel like maybe star trek addressed this?

btw as an aside the booster gold origin story is kinda funny, not a great superhero in the future so instead he goes back in time to show off over there, never read any of those comics though

From wiki: He is initially depicted as a glory-seeking showboat from the future, staging high-publicity heroics through his knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology. Carter develops over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies to become a hero weighed down by his reputation.
