I've finished sewing the covers, they look cool. Now for taking the old material off the seat pads and stapling the new on. After that sand and paint the chairs. πŸ‘

ok, pictures of the fabric covers I made coming up , they are about 80 x 80 cms , they will go on big black wood stained carved chairs. All the patterns on the fabric are woven

Thanks. Making these has been a real learning experience, the fabric designers are so talented, the colours they use, the patterns, the types of thread. Some of them are copies of ancient and traditional textile designs and I think some of the fabrics I used are about 50 years old.
