I mean it's goofy but I still have a glimmer of love for X-Men. It meant a lot to me as a lonely kid. It was a comic that directly dealt with stuff like racism and being queer at a time when those seemed like unspeakable topics, especially to kids. It was my first outlet as a kid. I loved how they were all outsiders but still had community. I love how they were diverse and valued education.

And as a cruel punishment my last bit of nostalgia will be made into marvel slop.

Yeah that one is pretty ok actually. I like how distrustful the mutants were of captain america
