Okay, my final fancy purchase (I promise)
I got a second hand Sony speaker in pretty good condition for 30 bucks (an sbx-xrb-31 or something like that - Sony uses stupid names). It's an absolute hoot. It has LEDs and features a "rave mode"
Seriously:
You've done good there buddy. Sony are good in the speaker department. ๐
I thought it was a bit bassy, but also quiet, but apparently it has an "extra bass" mode which i figured out how to turn off, and when it's under 20% battery, it halves the volume
Can you take a pic of it?
Sure. The little white LED is on both sides and flashes (vaguely) to the beat. The top led sort of changes colours with the rhythm
I did take a photo of the gigantic box it came in as well, but Lemmy seems to be struggling with photo uploads right now
Awesome! If they can be dual paired then it would be worthwhile to get another so you can get stereo sound.
Also you have a pool table. Fucking cool!
I've got a speaker from this era of Sony and it's still going strong. Cool is a good setting to avoid those big light flashes if you want the party lights on
