Caffeine never works for me when I want it to. I don’t know whether it affects me at all.

I don’t frequently, but various sources: Yerba mate, Mountain Dew, mocha, chai, Diet Coke. Some days when I’ve been really tired I’ve drank caffeinated tea, and I stayed very tired. When I’m on vacation or something I’ll drink one of the things, and I can’t tell if it’s that, new place excitement, social propulsion, general phase of high energy, or it being difficult to sleep somewhere other than my bed, but I often take a while to get tired then. Without it I also occasionally have no tiredness regardless of it being much later than I’d normally stay up. Ditto, Probably ADHD.

Pro-tip: if want to get caffeine from coffee, you can also have a cup of tea with it. Tea has a compound called theanine which interacts with caffeine and mellows out the experience
