I totally understand. I miss when watching a movie at home felt like more of an event.

I can't argue with the convenience, but scrolling through a streaming platform feels similar in my mind to clicking on a 2-3 hour youtube video. Ironically, this makes me less inclined to commit to actually WATCHING something.

I get what you're saying. When I was a kid my dad used to take me and my brother to each rent a game and a movie every weekend then pick up some fast food on the way home every week. I looked forward to that so much. Now I have whatever media I want at my fingertips but it's just not the same.

I've started planning ahead what I'm going to watch/play and that's brought some of the magic back but it's not near what I had as a kid. I wasn't nearly as burned out as I am now either though.
