What are your opinions on Bayonetta Origins?

I was introduced to the Bayonetta series with Bayonetta Origins a few weeks ago. I loved it so much, that I now bought all other games from the series.
Now I realized how different Origins is to the main series. And while I really like all the games, I am really asking myself, what are the opinions of more long term Bayonetta fans on the game?
as a bayonetta fan i was just stoked for another bayonetta game. i hate this game. not for the story or the art (i love both) but because of the control scheme. it's just like the game brothers where you must control two different characters at the same time with each half of the controller and i hate that, a lot. if it was turn based or something else i wouldn't mind.
