But if those posts get new comments, it isn't so bad. I dislike how many websites age stuff too fast.
The only reason people are commenting so much on posts is due to how long they stay on the front page. 24 hours is plenty of time for a complete discussion. I agree that reddit aged stuff a bit to fast but I suppose they had to due to the large volume of content being posted.
24 hours seems quite short to me
Idk if I want to get back to a post I'll usually do it through my own comments. When I'm looking at my feed I want new posts.
