Old mate next door (he has a few screws loose) is cutting his lawn on his knees with hand shears again.
I've tried to lend him a mower but it's his thing.
If it sparks joy then who am I to say anything.
Just a bit unnerving to see/hear someone do that for a few hours when it'd take 5 mins max with manual push mower.
Wait, you're supposed to cut that stuff? I just assumed other people had special dwarf varieties that were better behaved than my rampant tree climbing kikuyu.
I wish my neighbour would use shears instead of his mega loud mower. Still takes him a few hours though.
It's like a really big flat bonsai!
He must be drowning in painkillers for his knees and back to keep tolerating that
