I'd report you to the mods, but now I sit in horror as I wonder what community I've signed up to. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The sort of communtiy moderated by someone with a small kitchen paired with a love of cooking and preserving ๐Ÿคฃ

As it is the sink and stove are often called on for extra bench space and the spare bedroom doubles as a pantry.

Kettle? Kettle! Do you empty it first ??????

No, although it rarely has much water left in it. It's a stovetop kettle, with a nifty folding handle so it does not take up much space. It generally does stay on the stove until I need to heat something else and need the space, which is most days.
