Seagoon movies. Mortal Engines. I just could not get into this Steam Punk Vernian /Howl's Moving Castle pastiche but if you love steam punk post apocalyptic stories you will love this a lot. It looks glorious , has an original idea and some good characters. Trailer; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRsFc2gguEg

And that's it for daily movies , I've been watching so much telly and movies the past few years I am filled up. I also notice that for me it's consumption of another person's whole vision. There is no room for my own creative thought. To have a fresh mind I need my own real experience and if I can't have that then books and music.

So movies and telly only on the weekends from now on. I still love movies so much ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—, just need to regulate my watching.

Oh God that movie. I just couldnโ€™t. No hobbitses. You have stamina

I give it 2.5 hobbits for it's lush visuals and costuming and it really does embody the spirit of steam punk. An Orwellian future dystopia with 19th C antiques and a bit of grunge.

also, I can still talk movies all day, just keep the new stuff for weekends.

Another thing I noticed about watching so many movies is that I don't have time to reflect on the art and meaning of what I see. Never went past short term memory. Movies are worthy of thought and should be watched in a good way.

Yeah true if you are being fair about it. Iโ€™m always suspicious after seeing the likes of Alita Battle Angel, Avatar, Speed Racer, Sucker Punch etc.. all stunning, all garbage.

I do the same. I don't listen to other peoples music when I'm creating my own. Makes total sense.

Really? This makes me very happy. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค—
