Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Kiev shelled the blue motherfuck out of LPR and DPR when they voted to split away and join Russia?

Actually, they started to shell Donbas way before that, somewhere between "please rescind the chauvinistic laws" and "we want partial autonomy to not obey laws clearly aimed against us".
