I'd be more in favour if I thought the movement was really driven by a desire to showcase the work of Australian artists. But, this feels more like an attack on Gina than anything positive. And I just don't care that much about her.
That's 100% what it is, and why I shared it in !ausmemes and not as a serious call to action.
I guarantee that the painting is worth a lot more now, and I would never know about the artist if it wasn't for all this so in a way it is promoting Australian artists
