I have been sick since April 1st and have terrible laryngitis. I've never been off work so much in my entire life. It feels weird. Like it's nice to rest, but it just feels unnatural to just work my night job. I have to have a return to work meeting tomorrow, but no way I'm ready, I can barely speak.
Good luck, seems to be very tough
I hope you feel better soon!
Thank you lovey.
Hope you feel better. Also you should take care of yourself more. I don't know you, but just in case you need to hear it.
I used to never take care of myself untill I realized that is the only way to be taken care of. Everyone else is busy with their own life. I left work early today because I felt too tired. I know that's not possible for some people, but just like in WoW. "You do zero DPS when you're dead." Make sure you take care of your star player. (That's you)
Thank you. I actually have been off work like 10 days and plan to stay off most of next week too until I get my voice back. Last time I had laryngitis I didn't get sick pay and I worked all through it, and it just ended up going on for six weeks that way. No more. I'll take it easy and only return when I'm at my best.
