Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.

Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.

Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.

Trying to quit caffeine, what drinks do you recommend to drink in the morning. Not Milo please

Almond milk! the 137c degrees sugarless one has no weird taste.

Pu erh is pretty common these days... But what is it that you want replacing? Energy? sugary is your alt so maybe teh tarik (if mamak drinks got). Anything with ginseng if it's not too heaty for you. Mouthfeel? Then just switch to decaf (if kopitiam got). Just lower caffeine? cold green tea or cham.

If you want taste to your plain water, ask for air limau but kosong (no sugar). If you can get the shops that would layan you adding a bit of salt you've basically halfway to an isotonic solution lol

Try tea. Technically some tea has higher caffeine but the release is more gentle, and it’s not as addictive. Then you slowly cut down on tea also
