You know the -ism about having to rotate a USB-A plug at couple of times before it goes in? Well, IRL have a USB-A cable that I have to rotate exactly once. Never 0, never more than once. Exactly once, every time. If I try to cheat it and pre-rotate it before the first time, I still have to rotate it. Exactly. Once.

I'm certain it's simply magic; there's no other explanation for it. Sure, I can visually check and make it go in the first time -- it's not that kind of magical. It just... blindly, always, reliably, only inserts exactly the second time.

I had no other place to post this. I don't know what it portends, or otherwise means. I just had to tell someone about it.

I have a magic USB-A cable.

Things I learned from my last visit to Applebee's:

  1. White people are in the minority as far as customers go anyway
  2. People will order online, then get there and stand around waiting for their food for long periods of time. Sometimes they sit at the bar and get a drink while they wait.
  3. People order fruity drinks in large quantities which puts stress on the single bartender working at the time. Example drink: "The Tipsy Cuban"
  4. The bartender does one thing at a time. No multitasking. To be fair, I wouldn't rush around if I worked at Applebee's either.
  5. There are either 1 or 2 people at a table, or a large family with 5+ people. Not really any in-between.

I sat at the bar, ordered pepsi and a quesadilla burger which was microwaved to 🤌 perfection 🤌, and left a >50% tip.
