I spent well over an hour tonight trying to get a light online and was ultimately unsuccessful.

They are great lights once online but setting them up is tough. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My LIFX bulbs always drop off wifi (lemmy.ml)

I have 3 LIFX bulbs synced to my google account to be controllable by google home, I keep having recurring issues where the lights drop off the network, sometimes the app can’t see them and google can’t see them, sometimes google can’t but the app can.

Iv tried static IP networking for the bulbs, tried DHCP and DHCP reserve addresses but nothing seems to keep them online consistently long term,

Any ideas?
