Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop ES-355. This is a killer guitar. I have a 1986 Les Paul Custom that I've had since 1987. This 355 comes with the same upgrades of gold hardware, ebony fretboard, real mother of pearl block inlays, and five ply binding. Add to that potted Gibson Custombucker pickups, CTS pots, Mallory capacitors, and Switchcraft pickup selector and output jack, and it's a complete package. My only wish is that they would have gone with a polyurethane gloss finish instead of the Vintage Old Sheen. But I can live with that. The back of the neck has a satin finish, so it's easy to get around on. Speaking of the neck, this is probably the largest neck I have on any of my guitars. It's bigger than the Les Paul, and bigger than the Epiphone ES-335's I have. But apparently it is still not as big as a 1958 neck would be. I actually find it quite comfortable to play.

My old Yamaha i inherited from my father. Think it is from the late 60s or early 70s. Maybe somebody in this group have more info about this model?

Had a fleeting thought of selling this in order to fund a Silver Sky Core, but I think doing that would be unwise

For those of you not in the US, today is a feasting holiday that commemorates a tradition in which early European settlers in North America feasted with native Americans, giving thanks to God and the natives for the support that allowed their colony to thrive. Today, we use it above all as a day to give thanks for blessings.

I’m thankful for the gifts of art and music and for the luxury of owning guitars which represent both. I’m also thankful to you all for sharing images of the beautiful instruments you encounter.

Happy Thanksgiving, wherever you are!

PS - that’s a Gretsch G5220 in Jade Gray Metallic upgraded with a roller bridge and a modified Bigsby B7.

It may be "just" a Squier, but this thing is beautiful and easily plays like a guitar 2-3x more expensive. I'm super impressed.
