having the ability to set your view page to comments will let you see the updates in the communities you care about.

having the ability to follow commenters will show you the content that they create in communities you're now aware exist.

Users should be able to sort saved posts by the date they were saved. If a users performs a search and finds what they were looking for in an old post, it shows up in their saved posts list in chronological order instead of at the front of the list. So users must then sift through their saved posts to find it again. Users should have an option or order that list by the date the posts were saved.

Be great if the search funtion was moved from the menu area to the top of the page (at least on the main page).

Would be nice if users could add social links in their profile e.g Mastodon username/profile link etc

Would be great to see the Brave Rewards tipping feature which exists in Reddit, available in Lemmy.
