This community could use an icon and banner! I suggest looking through the artwork available on TheTVDB, as there are some good options there: https://thetvdb.com/series/dark-matter#artwork
In addition to that, I created a few options of my own by basically just cropping Dark Matter wallpapers

Any other suggestions? I can also make an animated image if anyone can suggest something that might be worthwhile to use as an icon/banner
Dark Matter was prematurely canceled after its third season, ending the series on a cliffhanger and leaving unresolved plotlines. In an effort to wrap up those plotlines, the series creator Joseph Mallozzi took to Twitter to outline the plan for wrapping up those plotlines in the fourth season that never came to be. Mallozzi only posted the outlines for the first three episodes, which unfortunately does result in new plotlines that are unfinished. I have compiled those tweets into a Markdown document to post here on Lemmy. Due to the limits on size of posts on Lemmy, I will be posting each episode individually.

Act 1
2018-05-17
The Raza and its allies start taking fire from the alien armada. It's a battle for the ages and they're getting their asses kicked. One by one, the allies abandon the field of battle - first Truffault then Teku, leaving FIVE, now in command, to decide their next move.
As The Raza comes under heavy fire, FIVE reluctantly orders a retreat, haunted by the thought she is abandoning SIX. Despite the dire situation, she believes he is still alive, somewhere on the other side of the interdimensional rift.
The Raza drops out of FTL. FIVE, Ryo and Wexler assess the situation. They check systems and the damage to the ship. FIVE informs them that they will need to make repairs before going back. Go back?!
Wexler and Ryo aren't so sure that's a good idea, but FIVE believes SIX may still be alive on the other side of the rift. They argue over who is in charge - at which point the Android, having completed self repair, appears on the bridge and backs FIVE's command. End of debate.
The Android injects a subcutaneous transponder into Ryo and Wexler. It will allow her to monitor their movements while on board. Wexler is deeply offended - and objects, but the Android informs him it's either this, or they space him. Wexler happily obliges.
TWO/Alien awakens in the isolation chamber. The Android interrogates her but TWO, as the alien, reveals little - except to assure her that SIX is dead.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the inter dimensional rift, SIX awakens in the Marauder and finds himself floating in a bizarre atmosphere.
The shuttle's long range scanners pick up a structure - what turns out to be the Ferrous Corps shipyard facility that also made the journey to "the other side". He sets course.
Back on The Raza, Wexler is not at all happy about the situation and quietly broaches the topic of "the kid's" ability to lead. Ryo professes his loyalty to FIVE and vows to defend her to the death.. Wexler does a 180 turn. Upon further reflection, why not give the kid a shot?
FIVE has joined the Android. She asks the alien about TWO and is informed that TWO's consciousness has been effectively erased. But FIVE isn't buying it. She knows that TWO is in there, somewhere. We PUSH into TWO/Alien's eye and find ourselves -
Establish a pastoral rural setting. A lone farmhouse.
Inside the farmhouse, we discover TWO living a happy life, years after leaving The Raza. She shares a platonic yet very close relationship with a man named Kryden - and, we reveal, her infant daughter.
Elsewhere, in the Alt Marauder, THREE asks Alt Portia where they're headed. She says she's going to use him (and his knowledge of himself) to break into Alt Boone's lock-up. Her former cohort has been hitting the bottle hard lately and is fast becoming a liability.
She is going to use THREE to double-cross him. THREE, however, is not so enthusiastic. After all, what's to stop her from double-crossing him after he's helped? Portia informs him - nothing. But it's not like he has much of a choice.
Back on The Raza, Five and the Android retreat to the corridor where FIVE orders the Android to set a course and drop out closer, within scanning range of the ship's long-range sensors.
The Raza drops out of FTL.
The rift is still open and FIVE believes there's a chance they could get through. Wexler, even Ryo, argue against such a course of action. Who knows what lies on the other side? But before they can act, the Android gives them some news.
The Raza's sensors reveal that the alien ships are drawing power from the rift. And that could be something they can use against them.
Act 2
2018-05-18
Establish The Raza in sublight...
Ryo, alone in his quarters, receives a transmission from Teku who informs him that loyalist troops eager to see him back on the throne of Zairon await his command.
But Ryo turns down the opportunity to lead, informing his old friend that he is not fit to rule. He has let down his people, his friends. And now, his future lies not on Zairon, but on The Raza. A shattered Teku attempts to convince him otherwise, but Ryo ends the transmission
FIVE and the Android discuss the Android's plan to use Traugott's white hole bomb to collapse the rift. FIVE is horrified by the idea, but it may be their one chance to cut off the aliens off from their lifeline, a power source on the other side of the gateway.
On the other side of the rift, SIX gains access to Ferrous Corp shipyard. He makes his way through the seemingly deserted facility. The place is eerily quiet and appears to be abandoned.
SIX hears movement up ahead. He discovers a section beyond a sealed bulkhead damaged and exposed to space. As he prepares to double back, an footfall causes him to turn, gun raised. He finds himself staring down Alt Tash, also armed. Stalemate. Hey, what're the chances?
Ryo finds Wexler in the mess, having a drink. Ryo warns him THREE doesn't like to share his whisky.
Wexler: "Hey, I don't see his name on the bottle."
Ryo: "Look closer."
Wexler does, arcs an eyebrow: "Shit, his name IS on the bottle."
Wexler again expresses misgivings about FIVE's command. He understands how Ryo may want to look out for the kid, but this is a huge responsibility. Ryo warns Wexler not to underestimate her.
On the bridge, the Android and FIVE pitch their plan to Commander Truffault. It will fall on her to acquire the white hole bomb from Traugott - the REAL one this time as all the corps must now form a united front against the alien threat.
On the other side of the rift, on the Ferrous Corp facility, SIX and Tash still stand, guns leveled, waiting. Finally, SIX concedes his arm is probably as tired as hers and suggests they lower their weapons. Tash obliges. The two strike an unlikely alliance.
Ryo and Wexler's mess hall discussion is interrupted by the Android and FIVE who enlist their help in dealing with TWO...
In the infirmary, the shield to the isolation chamber is lowered and TWO is rendered unconscious by an energy weapon. With Ryo and Wexler's help, the Android and Five place her in a stasis pod.
But, rather than respond like the alien did in a similar situation back when THREE was compromised, the entity embodying TWO does not abandon its human host. Now what?
We PUSH INTO TWO's eye, then PULL OUT, we are back in the cabin. TWO, now Rebecca, expresses regret about leaving her friends on The Raza. Kryden tells her this is her life now, one she always dreamt about, with her daughter. There's no point in dwelling on the past.
Alt Portia and THREE make their way through a plethora a security barriers. THREE leads, submitting to an iris scan, using a pinprick of his blood to establish DNA entry, then a handprint to finally gain access to Alt. Marcus Boone's hidden storehouse.
THREE roots through the various items, much from an unremembered past. Suddenly, he hears an all too familiar sound that makes him turn - to find Alt Portia pointing her gun at him. As he suspected, now that she's used him to gain entry, she no longer needs him...
No way he's talking his way out of this one - but that doesn't stop him from trying. And, while he's talking, the storehouse door slides shut. She orders him to open it. He tries but, it prompts him for a passcode. Which he doesn't know. They're trapped!
Act 3
2018-05-19
Picking up where we left off, THREE and Portia trapped in Boone's vault. Without the passcode, they are screwed. But maybe not! Portia pulls out a small explosive device and informs THREE she'll simply blow the door.
THREE: That won't work.
Portia: Yes, it will.
THREE: No, it won't. All it's going to do is cause a lot of damage, to this place and us.
Portia: My nanites will heal me.
THREE: I don't have nanites.
Portia: And what's your point?
THREE appeals to Portia's pragmatic side. Let him search. Maybe he can find something to force the door that will allow them an exit without damaging any of the goods. And by goods, he means all of Boone's swag. Also, yes, select body parts. Portia tells him to start looking.
Elsewhere, two Mikkei cruisers drop out of FTL next to The Raza. A shuttle leaves one of the cruisers and streaks towards our ship.
Truffault has bad news. Traugott is refusing to give up the white hole bomb for use against the aliens. FIVE can't understand why they're allowing petty corporate politics to take precedence here. They need to work together to save the galaxy. Truffault has a theory...
Traugott no longer has the bomb. According to her intel, weeks ago, their research facility was hit by a highly trained retrieval team. By process of elimination, there is only one group capable of pulling off this type of heist: The Galactic Authority. The G.A. has the bomb.
On the other side of the rift, SIX and Tash exchange barbs as they search the facility for a control center that will allow them scan and pinpoint the location of the rift - and their ticket home. The Marauder's sensors have been compromised by the alien atmosphere.
Back in Boone's vault, THREE's search is coming up empty. He is distracted by items from his unremembered past, but Portia reminds him he's on the clock. THREE switches gears and attempts to charm Portia - but she aint buying what he's selling.
Before leaving, Truffault offers some parting advice on dealing with the alien inside TWO. Recently, they captured a "simulant" attempting to infiltrate Mikkei. The alien abandoned that body, but only under extreme torture.
It may be their only option.
SIX and Tash encounter a trio of Ferrous Corp guards abandoned by their comrades, desperate to take The Marauder. Our heroes are outgunned 3-2. "Actually, four to one,"Tash informs SIX, turning to level her sidearm at his head. So much for that unlikely alliance.
Act 4
2018-05-20
FIVE contacts Anders. He knows nothing about the GA's heist of the white hole bomb and is reluctant to investigate for fear of risking his career. FIVE reveals SIX sacrificed much more. Anders, shocked by this news, vows to help.
FIVE, Android, Ryo and Wexler discuss what appears to be their only option for ridding TWO of the alien: torture.
But FIVE can't bring herself to do it.
And neither can the Android.
While Ryo deems it dishonorable.
They turn to Wexler who shrugs: "Sure, why not?"
THREE and Portia banter as the search for a way out continues. Suddenly, they are interrupted by Boone whose face flashes up on the security monitor. He just received an automated alert to someone accessing his stash. He is enroute and will deal with them when he gets there.
Portia threatens to blow the door - and all his stuff with it. Boone thinks she's bluffing. She pulls out the explosive device and holds it up to camera, then sticks it to the door. As Boone looks on apprehensively - a beat, then the camera shorts out. Shit!
Reveal THREE merely took the camera offline - but was it enough to convince Boone? Portia says it doesn't matter. Time to blow the door.
THREE: That thing won't blow the damn door!
Portia: Yes, it will.
THREE: No, it won't!
She triggers the device. THREE scrambles for cover!
Portia retreats and the device explodes. When the dust settles, an injured but rapidly healing Portia steps through the debris and examines the door: not a scratch. She throws a look back at an unconscious THREE -
Portia: Well, I stand corrected.
A bound SIX lies on the floor of the Marauder as Tash and the three Ferrous Corps guards prepare to fly the shuttle to the nearest data hub where they will run a scan and pinpoint the location of the extra dimensional rift - and the access point back to their reality.
Tash turns to the guards: "Which one of you is the pilot?"
The guards stare back blankly: "None of us. We thought YOU knew how to fly this thing."
Tash sighs, quickdraws, and guns down the guards.
She pulls a knife, crouches, and frees SIX. Informs him: "You're up, flyboy."
The possessed TWO is bound to a chair in a sealed section of corridor the Android has retrofitted to create an impromptu Faraday Cage. Wexler walks in, shock stick in hand, and explains the situation. On his signal, the Android will disable TWO's nanites with a confined EMP.
Then, he will force the alien out. The shock stick sparks menacingly for effect. Wexler: Oh, and hey, TWO, if you can hear me in there and this works, don't take this personally. Or kill me once we're done.
The possessed TWO glares back at him.
Wexler: Alrighty. Ready?
No response. Wexler glances up at the camera in a corner of the corridor.
Wexler: Hit it.
The EMP is triggered. The lights die. TWO's nanites shut down.
Wexler triggers the shock stick and advances: "Let's get started."
Act 5
2018-05-21
Establish a remote farmhouse. It's a beautiful day. TWO steps out outside - "She finally fell asleep..." - and trails off at the sight of a shirtless Kryden returning from his chores.
His lean, muscled body is covered with a web of cybernetic circuitry running from his fingertips to his very core. He's augmented.
Kryden puts on his shirt, tells her: "She's sleeping a lot better now that you're here. You were gone so long, I didn't think you were coming back."
TWO is about to respond when, suddenly, she is assailed by a violent headache. She loses her balance. Kryden goes to her. As she shakes it off, a thunderclap causes them to look skyward. Ominous storm clouds moving in. Lightning flashes. He suggests they head inside.
On The Raza, a possessed TWO arcs her back, her mouth open in a silent scream as the charge of the shock stick washes over her. Wexler steps back to catch his breath, and warns: "I can do this all day."
But the look he throws the security camera suggests otherwise.
Back on the bridge, FIVE, watching the proceedings on the big monitor, hesitates, then tells him: "Keep going."
He does.
The door to Marcus Boone's vault slides open to reveal Boone, armed and enraged at the sight of the devastation. He scans the room, takes in his destroyed loot, an unconscious THREE in the corner, and steps inside.
The second he does -
THREE's eyes flash open and he shouts a warning: "Look out!"
Boone looks up, just catching sight of Portia positioned directly overhead, gun leveled. He moves. She fires. And misses. He grabs her wrist and yanks, bringing her down hard. But she is quickly on her feet.
He levels his gun but she swats it away. It clatters across the floor where a battered THREE picks it up, then bolts.
Portia and Boone throw down. She's faster, pins him to the wall. Suddenly, he shouts: "Door!"
Too late! She turns just in time to see the door slide shut.
Safely in the corridor on the other side of the sealed door, THREE shoots out the security console, effectively sealing them inside.
THREE: "I'm sure you two have a lot of catching up to do. I'll leave you to it."
He leaves them, trapped, warily eyeing each other
The possessed TWO twists and strains against her bonds, to no avail. Wexler, clearly exhausted, appeals: "Hey, if you can hear me in there - I can't do this alone. Help me kick this bastard out of you!" And he shocks her again.
Back on the bridge, FIVE can barely watch.
Inside the farmhouse, TWO stares out the window at the terrifying storm. A sudden stutter-flash in the distant darkness mimics the familiar FTL effect. And, in that instant, TWO is suddenly struck by a realization. She throws a look to Kryden and tells him: "I have to go."
Kryden appeals, but she insists: "I can't stay here." She makes for the door - at which point the baby starts to cry. She holds up, conflicted.
Kryden: Rebecca, she needs you.
TWO: I'll come back for her. I promise.
Then, she throws open the door and ventures out into the storm.
On The Raza, Wexler steps back as the alien begins to leave TWO, a roiling oily blackness escaping through her eyes, ears, and mouth to loom over them.
Wexler: Shit!
Back on the bridge, FIVE gives the signal: "Now!"
At which point one of the bulkhead doors slide opens.
The Android steps in, grabs TWO's chair, and yanks her out of the compartment.
Wexler, back to a wall, stares up in horror at the hovering alien presence. Then Ryo grabs him and pulls him to safety as -
The bulkhead door slides shut, trapping the alien within.
On the other side of the spacetime rift, in one one of the Ferrous shipyard's control hubs, Ferrous Corp guards attempt to send a distress signal to the outside world.
The door slides open. SIX and Tash walk enter.
The Ferrous Corp guards react at the sight of SIX.
"What is he doing here?!"shouts one of the guards.
Tash shoots them both.
She catches a look from SIX and shrugs: "It's just faster than having to explain."
SIX accesses the long-range sensors and pinpoints the location of the rift, their gateway back to their reality.
Tash: You got it?
SIX: Yeah.
Tash: Then let's go.
SIX: It's too far.
Tash: What do you mean?
SIX: The Marauder isn't FTL-capable. It'll take us three years to get there by shuttle.
And the enormity of the dire situation settles. So near and yet so very, very far...
Android, Ryo, and Wexler are on the bridge, studying their alien prisoner via security feed. The Android intends to study it for now.
FIVE joins them and lets them know TWO is resting comfortably.
They are interrupted by a communication. It's Anders.
He tells them that he has learned where the Galactic Authority is holding the white hole bomb.
All silent beat as all eyes swing over to FIVE for the call. She doesn't even hesitate: "Let's go get it!"
And off a resolute FIVE, we end episode

Act 1
2018-06-21
Previously on Dark Matter: Wexler forces the alien out of TWO, but not before she glimpses a clue to the whereabouts of her daughter. THREE turns the tables on a Alt. Portia. Ryo informs Android he wants to remain onboard...
FIVE mourns the loss of SIX - who, it turns out, is alive and well but trapped on the other side of the spacetime rift with Tash. A plan is hatched to use Traugott's white hole bomb to destroy the rift - but we discover that it is now in the hands of the Galactic Authority.
Establish: A Galactic Authority Outpost
Anders access a secures section of the facility. "I'm in,"he informs someone on his comm link. It's Mission Impossible time as he makes his way down a corridor then into a control room where he relieves the guard on duty.
Anders opens up a panel on a computer and proceeds to upload the data. Unbeknownst to him, the guard he relieved holds up, realizes he forgot his I.D., turns and heads back the way he came. INTERCUT Anders waiting for the data to finish uploading/The guard on his way back.
Anders finishes - just in time to hand the returning guard his forgotten I.D. Cool as a cucumber. Once the guard leaves, Anders speaks into his comm. "Did you get it?"
REVEAL FIVE on the bridge of The Raza, having received the upload. Mission accomplished.
CUE OPENING -
Wexler pays TWO a visit to see how she's doing - and to find out how much she remembers. "You torturing me?"she offers. He points out it was necessary and that, when you really think about it, he's the reason she's back to her old self. Still, TWO hasn't exactly warmed to him.
They are interrupted by the Android who informs them that THREE's and the Alt Marauder have docked.
THREE steps through the airlock and reunites with the team - after punching out Wexler for abandoning him on the Ferrous Corp shipyard. THREE points out that they now have two Marauders, and one of them is FTL capable. The others exchange solemn looks. THREE wonders what's up?
On the Ferrous Corp shipyard on the other side of the rift, SIX and Tash, are faced with the prospect of being light years away from gateway with a shuttle incapable of FTL travel. SIX has an idea however. Maybe they can access one of the docked half-built Ferrous ships...
...and retrofit one of their FTL engines to the Marauder. It's an iffy prospect that could result in everything from a successful jump to a massive explosion, but they don't have much in the way of options.
The Android and FIVE have gotten THREE up to speed. He reacts to the news of SIX's sacrifice. THREE asks FIVE if she is okay with using the white hole bomb to collapse the rift, cutting off any hope of retrieving him. FIVE isn't happy about it, but what choice do they have?
On the bridge, Android is monitoring the captured alien. Ryo comes in and asks her if she's learned anything. She informs him she's exposed it to extreme heat, cold, electricity, and radiation - to no effect. It's an extremely resilient entity!
TWO comes in and demands to know what Ryo is doing on the bridge. The Android explains that he, and Wexler, have been implanted with transponders that allow her to monitor their shipboard whereabouts at all time. But it's not enough for TWO.
Wexler may have bought himself a little goodwill, but their relationship with Ryo ended after that last battle. She aims to follow through on the promise she made him in the season finale and release him. He tells her he doesn't want to leave, that he has nowhere to go.
TWO orders him sealed in his quarters until she decides what to do with him. As Ryo willingly heads off, the Android reveals to TWO that she might have another option for dealing with him...
On the shipyard, SIX and Tash discover most of the Ferrous Corp ships have been lost. The only viable candidate is docked at a heavily damaged section of the facility. One of them is going to have to go for a space walk...
Act 2
2018-06-23
VFX - SPACE
The Raza drops out of FTL at a space station.
At the airlock, Lieutenant Anders is welcomed aboard.
In the mess, they discuss the op to steal the white hole bomb. It's being held in a heavily-secured facility. But there's a way in. Guards travel to and from the station via a dedicated transfer transit station. The crew of The Raza will get into that station with Anders' help.
Then he, THREE, and Wexler will transfer to the facility while TWO stays behind to guard their defenseless bodies. Once they secure the bomb, they'll steal a GA shuttle and fly it out of the facility and back to The Raza that will drop out of FTL and pick them all up. Simple!
On the Ferrous shipyard, meanwhile, on the other side of the rift, SIX dons a spacesuit. Tash informs him that she will remain at the control hub to bypass any security protocols and guide him. Simple!
As she prepares to leave, TWO tells the Android about Kyrden and her baby. She believes her vision was based on a memory and asks the Android to try to locate the planet they were on - a planet with three moons and a distinct atmospheric phenomena.
Tash guides SIX around various dangerous and unstable pockets of the facility, overriding locked doors so that he finally gain access to one of the partially constructed ships. He gets to work, detaching the FTL engine.
A G.A. shuttle streaks through space and approaches an outpost.
Inside the shuttle, Anders is at the controls. He uses the security codes he stole from the G.A. database (see Tease), causing the station's automated defense systems to stand down and allow them access.
They take out a couple of guards, then Anders uses a retinal scanner to access the transit room. He, THREE, and Wexler change into the waiting G.A. uniforms and get into the pods. They hum to life as an armed TWO looks on...
On the Ferrous shipyard, SIX succeeds in detaching the FTL engine and starts back. Tash tells him to pick up the pace. SIX: "You ever try running in mag boots?!" Suddenly, Tash tracks a piece of debris headed for his section. There's nothing SIX can do but brace for impact!
Anders, THREE, and Wexler exit the pods on the other side and head into the facility. As they do, Anders is recognized. He bluffs his way through and our trio continue on their way, relieved but… The guard's eyes narrow as he watches Anders go. Something isn't right here…
On The Raza, the Android offers Ryo an option. She explains that every time someone uses transfer transit, the system downloads a neural template of the traveler. That template is transferred, via subspace, to a clone, imbuing it with the original's personality and memories.
The neural imprint is, in effect, stored back-up that will allow them to re-set him back to who he was the last time he used the pods (back in Episode 207) before he embarked on his campaign to retake the throne. They could have the old FOUR back - if it works.
A rattled SIX heads back with the FTL engine. Suddenly, he holds up, asks Tash for a way around. But there is no way around. Reveal SIX standing at the edge of a precipice, almost 30 feet of open space between him and the other end of the corridor. So much for simple.
At the G.A. facility, THREE, Anders and Wexler arrive in the holding area where the bomb is being stored - only to discover it's not there. Well...so much for simple!
TWO is surprised by a G.A. special ops team and exchanges fire with them. A stun grenade is tossed into the room and goes off. TWO goes down, unconscious, and the G.A. team takes the room - and everyone inside.
Act 3
2018-06-23
An unconscious TWO is cuffed as Anders, THREE, and Wexler are pulled out of their transfer pods and arrested. Their clones are still active - but not for long….
Inside the facility, Anders gets on a computer and deduces the bomb has been moved to the R&D lab, two floors down. He, THREE, and Wexler are on the move.
Back at the Ferrous shipyard, Tash informs SIX of his options. Option #1: He jumps and hope this trajectory carries him to the other side. If he miscalculates, he'll drift wide and float off helplessly...until his oxygen runs out. Option #2: See Option #1.
At the G.A. facility, an alarm sounds as Anders, THREE, and Wexler get to the lab and discover a scientist studying...the disassembled bomb. Shit! They order him to put it back together. Now! Suddenly an alarm sounds. They seal themselves inside.
Back on The Raza, FIVE finds the Android on the bridge. She asks if they'd received an word from the op. Not yet, but there has been a development the alien front. It is losing cohesion, drifting apart. FIVE orders it spaced before it dissipates.
Tash, in a space suit, takes up position on the other end of the chasm. SIX sends over the FTL engine. We track its progress, floating across space...a little wide, forcing Tash, in her mag boots, to reach out and snag it. "Okay," she says. "Two feet to your left. Your turn!"
In a holding room in the G.A. outpost, a G.A. Officer, VanderMeer, visits Anders and accuses him of betrayal. Anders suggests Vandermeer listen to what the crew of The Raza have to say before passing judgement.
SIX steels himself, then makes the jump. We track his progress across the divide and SIX and Tash realize his trajectory is off. He's going to drift wide. And there's nothing Tash can do this time. She disappears back inside with the engine, presumably leaving SIX to his fate.
Inside the G.A. facility, the scientist finishes assembling the bomb. Guards pound at the sealed door. What now?! Wexler presses a button and the device comes to life. "What'd you do to the bomb?" asks THREE. "I armed it," Wexler informs him. Off a stunned THREE we end act.
Act 4
2018-06-24
SIX drifts wide of the mark. He begins to run Tash through the piloting sequence that will get her through the rift when suddenly, his progress is halted. REVEAL Tash, secured to a lifeline, has snagged his ankle, literally "catching her lift".
Commander Vandermeer pays a visit to the imprisoned TWO, THREE, and Wexler. TWO makes a pitch for the white hole bomb so that they can target the rift and, hopefully, deal the looming alien invasion a critical blow. Vandermeer is unconvinced...
Inside the G.A. facility, Wexler tells the security guards outside the door that he'll detonate the bomb if they don't back off. The scientist confirms that it, has intact, been armed. Wexler reminds them they are clones and have nothing to lose.
Back at the outpost, Vandermeer learns the clones are threatening to blow up the facility. In addition to the loss of life and whatever research they have down there, the G.A. will have to explain what they were doing in possession of a white hole bomb. Vandermeer stews.
On the Ferrous shipyard, SIX and Tash take off their space suits. SIX thanks her for saving him. Tash suggests he show his appreciation by getting them the hell back home. Both grab the FTL engine and make for the Marauder.
Back at the G.A. facility, the clones strike a deal. The G.A. agrees to back off. They unseal the lab doors. The corridors are clear; the security guards are nowhere in sight. The clones head to the shuttle bay with the white hole bomb.
As Vandermeer prepares to release TWO, THREE and Wexler, he takes Anders aside and orders him on the op to take out the rift. HE will be the G.A.'s eyes and ears onboard The Raza.
The G.A. shuttle docks with The Raza. Onboard, all convene. The Android suggests she could try to establish a neural link to the G.A.'s shuttle and deliver the bomb that way - but it may take some time. Clone THREE, instead, volunteers himself and clone Wexler for the job.
The Raza drops out of FTL near the rift. The G.A. shuttle launches with clone Wexler piloting, clone THREE on weapons. On The Raza, Android, TWO, FIVE, and Anders look on as the alien ships come alive. Some engage the shuttle while others open fire on them.
As the G.A. shuttle bobs and weaves its way past the aliens' weaponfire, The Raza is rattled by a barrage. On the bridge, the Android is focused on something else entirely. FIVE asks her what she is doing. Android informs her she's sending a message through the rift...
SIX and Tash are working on the engine when SIX notices a familiar signal flash up on the comm screen: a modulated tachyon pulse. He realizes: "We have to go. Now!" A final adjustment, then they scramble into their seats. He punches it. The Marauder streaks out of the shipyard.
On the other side of the rift, the G.A. shuttle takes a hit. Its shields fail. Onboard The Raza, Ryo, alone in his quarters, feels the ship shudder. On the bridge, the rest of the crew look on anxiously. Is this going to work?

The G.A. shuttle is struck and begins to lose structural integrity. It drifts towards the event horizon and - detonates in a blinding flash, taking down out the rift and a handful of alien ships.
The Marauder docks. The Raza is rocked by sustained weapons fire from the approaching alien ships. Once the Android has confirmed the Marauder is safely aboard, The Raza jumps to FTL and make good its escape.
An elated FIVE is reunited with SIX outside the airlock, throwing her arms around the big man and almost knocking him off his feet. Wexler and Tash's reunion is decidedly more restrained. A nod and "Hey" countered by a "Hey" and nod back.
The Raza docks at a space station.
Anders leaves them, vowing to stay in touch and update them on the movements of the remaining alien ships.
Tash bids SIX a fond farewell. With Alt. Portia and Boone M.I.A., she's now in command of the Alt. Android and their ship.
Wexler pitches TWO for why he should stick around. Portia, Boone, and Ferrous Corp will be gunning for him and Truffault's not returning his calls. It's chaos out there and he's proven he can help. TWO allows him to stay. But she's keeping him on a short leash. As for Ryo...
TWO and the Android pay Ryo a visit. Has he decided? He says he has.
He steps out of his quarters to find the rest of the crew waiting for him - THREE, FIVE, SIX and, now, Wexler. Their expressions convey an array of emotions: uncertainty, pity, hope.
The crew escorts Ryo to the transit pods. The Android reminds Ryo that the procedure is not without risk, but he is past caring. Ryo addresses his former crew mates with a final message: "I'm sorry." Then, he gets into the pod. The procedure begins...

Act 1
2019-05-24
Previously on Dark Matter: The crew teams with Anders and the G.A. to seal the rift, the black ships' power source. THREE and SIX return. Wexler stays. Ryo uses transfer transit to reboot himself as FOUR.
A Reynaud Industries press conference. CEO Alicia Reynaud's brilliant young daughter, Carina, is delivering a speech about her mother's company when - smoke bombs go off. Chaos! Her bodyguards hustle her through the back and down a corridor where -
They are jumped by two masked men. Carina breaks free, turning a corner and coming face to face with - FIVE who informs her that she is her sister. There's no time to explain. Suddenly, O.S. shots ring out! FIVE gives her the Raza's transmission codes.
Just then, Carina's bodyguards round the corner, guns in hand. FIVE makes a break for it. They fire on her. Carina shouts: "No!" Too late! FIVE is hit, goes down and - disintegrates. She was a clone!
Aboard the Raza, FIVE exits the transit pod. THREE, Wexler, and TWO are waiting for her. So? Did she get her sister the transmission codes? FIVE doesn't know. The only thing they can do know is wait and see...
Days have passed with no word from Carina. FIVE is upset.
THREE: "Don't worry, Fiver. We'll find another way to fix the Blink Drive."
But FIVE tells him it isn't just about the Blink Drive. She desperately wants to get to know her older sister.
Android visits FOUR who, haunted by his actions as Ryo Ishida, is having regrets about his decision to reboot himself. Android tries to reassure him: "The crew has forgiven you." And although that may be true, FOUR isn't sure he can ever forgive himself.
Carina finally makes contact. She desperately wants to meet her little sister but can't leave the Reynaud compound without arousing suspicion. Maybe she can use transfer transit to meet her at a space station somewhere? FIVE: "I have a better idea..."
FIVE and TWO await Carina's arrival at the ship's transit pods. TWO reminds FIVE that her older sister has been raised by Alicia Reynaud and may not be the person she hopes. But when Carina arrives, she proves warm and kind, a far cry from her wicked stepmom.
As they tour the Raza, Carina notes FIVE's interaction with her fellow crew members, impressed by the love and respect she commands. They are the two things she has been missing for most of her life and she envies her younger sister and the Raza family.
FIVE shows Carina the Blink Drive and reveals IT is one of the reasons why they reached out to her. It's damaged and they need her help to fix it. Without hesitation, Carina agrees to help - but only on one condition. She wants to join their crew.
Act 2
2019-05-24
VFX - The Raza in FTL
FIVE opens up to her sister about life on the ship. It hasn't always been easy. She's lost people she's cared about. And she'd never forgive herself if something happened to her. But Carina confides that having a family would make it worth the risk...
Carina reveals she is practically a prisoner in her mother's compound as she is being groomed by Reynaud to one day succeed her as CEO of the company. Carina wants freedom, something only The Raza can offer.
The crew discusses. FIVE points out that Carina is brilliant, possibly as capable as she is, and would be a great addition. Android is delighted at the prospect of having a new friend. In the end, they tell FIVE that it's her call.
A decision has been made. Carina's request has been granted. As TWO, THREE, and FIVE escort Carina back to the transfer pods, they discuss the plan. And, as they talk, their words become...
The VOICE-OVER for scenes of the plan in action...
At Reynaud HQ, Carina dodges security cameras, gaining access first to the lab, then to the database, uploading the information on the Blink Drive via optical flash (last seen Episode 202: Kill Them All). Mission accomplished...
Carina's clone returns to the Raza. The crew is impressed. But Carina warns they have to move quickly. Her stepmother is away on a business trip and they only have so much time to get this done before mommy dearest returns and notices her missing.
In the Systems Control Room, Carina and FIVE work on a holographic representation of the database. Carina proves herself FIVE's equal, manipulating the data based on the schematics in her head. The sisters bond. Android brings hot chocolate for everyone!
Back at Reynaud HQ, dear old stepmom returns early from her business trip to the news that there was an unscheduled entry to the R&D lab. According to the records, it was a scientist - who wasn't even in the building at the time. Hmmm.
Turns out Reynaud, ever cautious, had embedded a secondary layer of security in the lab. "I didn't get where I am today by trusting people," she informs her lieutenant, Hughes, as she initiates the information retrieval.
Unbeknownst to whoever accessed the lab, a genetic scan was taken of them upon entry. We flash through the facility's staff in search of the identity of the spy and - Reynaud is surprised by the results. It's her own daughter.
Act 3
2019-05-25
Sisters bond over transversible wormholes, negative energy, and amusing anecdotes about the rest of the crew (mostly THREE). FIVE suggests they take a break. Carina protests. They're so close. FIVE insists.
SIX visits FOUR. He draws parallels between their respective redemptive journeys. It may be a long process, but the biggest challenge will be in taking that first step. And he's not going to do it sitting here alone in his room.
Wexler surprses TWO with a post-workout omelet. The secret ingredient is "no egghshells". TWO informs him his attempts to ingratiate himself aint gonna fly and his future on the Raza is solely contingent on not screwing up. Simple as that.
Wexler tells her he appreciates her brutal honesty. She tells him that, next time, she'd appreciate a cup of coffee to go with that omelet.
FIVE and Carina have a heart to heart. Carina reveals to FIVE her memories of their parents, their time in the galactic creche system, and her furtive failed attempts to track down her little sister.
TWO, THREE and SIX are summoned to the bridge where the Android shows them the latest news reports. There has been a massive wave of simultaneous terrorist attacks across the galaxy.
The Android surmises it may be the simulants (human host bodies infected by alien entities), enacting the next wave of their alien invasion. THREE's thoughts turn to Sarah. Is there any way to contact Dr. Shaw? Unfortunately, there isn't.
FIVE and Carina get back to work. Carina realizes there's a problem...
Act 4
2019-05-25
Carina has the codes to get them inside the facility. It's the only way to fix the Blink Drive - and the Drive is their best shot at taking on the Alien threat. They have no choice. They see Carina off...
FOUR informs TWO he wants to go on the op with them. She's not convinced he's quite in the right state of mind. Not yet. He insists. She's relents, but with the understanding that he must stay back at the Marauder. Little steps.
Wexler is excited for the op, but TWO reminds him they're just there to fix the Blink Drive. No going off-book! She hands him a stunner. He is disappointed. When does he get a real gun? TWO: "When I decide I can trust you with one."
The ship drops out of FTL. The Android gets radio comm on bridge. They're on their way.
We ESTABLISH THE COMPOUND...
TWO, THREE, FIVE and Wexler enter the compound. As promised, Carina has redirected security away from their wing. They leave Wexler behind to guard the exit - and he aint happy about it.
They gain access to the lab. FIVE and Carina hook up the Blink Drive and get to work while TWO, THREE and SIX look on, weapons at the ready. We intercut...
Back at the service corridor, Wexler, getting curious, decides to have a little look around. He abandons his post...
FIVE and Carina complete their work. It's done! Suddenly -
The lights go down. A stun field goes off, and they all drop.
The lab door slides open and Reynaud steps inside with her guards.
She's got a working Blink Drive AND the crew of The Raza.
Act 5
2019-05-27
While FOUR anxiously paces in the Marauder, unaware of what is going on -
TWO, THREE, and SIX awaken, locked up in an ND room. FIVE is conspicuously absent...
FIVE awakens and immediately checks on Carina who comes to. Carina gets up and complains to Reynaud about the stunning. Reynaud apologizes, but tells her she wanted to be sure. To FIVE's horror, she realize that her sister is working with her step-mother.
Reynaud: "Once I realized what she was up to I didn't give her much of a choice." Reynaud makes a pitch for FIVE to join them, seeing the potential in her. FIVE refuses, so Reynaud orders Carina to pick up FIVE's discarded gun and shoot her.
Carina picks up the gun, points it at FIVE - then turns and shoots Reynaud, killing her mother. FIVE is shocked. Carina reveals that she's been waiting for this moment for a long time. The company is now hers. Carina makes her little sister an offer...
Join her in overseeing Renyaud Industries. The crew of the Raza will take the fall for her mother's death. Together they'll be unstoppable. FIVE refuses.
Disappointed, Carina prepares to shoot her when -
Wexler, arms laden with stolen tech, steps into the room and stuns Carina. He hands FIVE her gun back and asks her if she wants to finish the job. But FIVE isn't interested in revenge. They get out of there.
FIVE and Wexler rescue a surprised TWO, THREE, and SIX, then rejoin FOUR at the Marauder. They return to the Raza and the ship jumps to FTL.
Later, Android enters the mess and informs the crew that the Blink Drive is operational. Wexler kicks back, pleased with the way things went. TWO thanks him for saving FIVE...but the next time he disobeys her order, she'll blast him out the airlock. Again.
FOUR is back at it, practicing. Suddenly, he stops, realizes - blood. He drops his blade, clumsily, and checks his hand. He's bleeding. He cut himself. WTF?
TWO pays a despondent FIVE a visit. They have a heart to heart. FIVE wonders if everything Carina told her was a lie. She is crushed. We MATCH DISSOLVE TO -
In the mess, they watch a news report about the murder of Alicia Reynaud. Carina, now acting CEO, gives a speech about how saddened she is by the death of her mother but that she hopes justice will be served - and the crew of The Raza will be brought to justice.
Later. The ship streaks through space in sub-light.
They receive a communication from Lieutenant Anders who gets them up to speed on the recent spate of terrorist attacks - and the fact that they're connected to the alien invasion.
The general population will know the truth soon enough. It's time to act. TWO wants to know what that has to do with them. Anders informs her "The G.A. wants to offer you a deal..." Off their intrigued looks we end episode

Honorable Mentions:
- Inertial dampeners fail in both
- DM calls it "FTL drive" but it's warp drive in all but name
- Subspace communications
- Both have mirror universes
- Discovery's experimental spore drive is Dark Matter's experimental "Blink" drive in all but name
Edit: Had one I meant to include but forgot: Killer Barrels
Bonus: Has Detmer and Sam Kirk too.
