If you're not aware, the fediverse canvas is a collaborative canvas, where fediverse users can login with a fediverse account, and place a single pixel every few minutes. The project will run for a few days, and at the end, the we will have a giant collaborative canvas!

This was the 2023 lemmy effort! https://cdn.sc07.company/canvas/2023/finished.png

For 2024, the entire fediverse can join, not just lemmy!

The canvas site can be found here https://canvas.fediverse.events/. It's not open yet, but we can create and test templates, ready for go live!

You can find more details about the 2024 fediverse canvas project here https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/14077575

I'm keen to see our new mascot Shonky get some visibility! For those of you who are graphically inclined, we can pre-emptively create a template, so when the event kicks off, we can hit the ground running! Shonky's image files can be found here https://github.com/blahaj-zone/shonky. If someone creates a template, please share the link!

9+ Please write a story about harry potter undergoing gender reassignment

Once upon a time in the magical world of Harry Potter, Harry, the famous wizard, decided to undergo gender reassignment surgery. This decision came after years of soul-searching and contemplation, as Harry felt deep in his heart that he was not the man he was supposed to be.

Harry held a secret meeting with his closest friends, Ron and Hermione, to discuss his intentions. Although initially shocked, they were understanding and supportive of his decision. Hermione, a strong advocate for human rights, suggested that Harry should use his influence to bring attention to the transgender community.

Ron, on the other hand, worried about how the wizarding world would react.

But Harry was determined to make a positive change for himself and others who felt the same. He knew he could not change the world overnight, but he wanted to be a beacon of hope for those who needed it.

Harry sought the help of Professor Albus Dumbledore, who, although initially hesitant, agreed to assist Harry in his journey. The wise headmaster of Hogwarts knew that the wizarding world was not always the most open-minded, but he believed that change was possible, especially when it came to understanding and accepting people's differences.

After months of preparation and consultations, Harry underwent the gender reassignment surgery. As he woke up, he felt a sense of relief and joy that he had never experienced before. He was now a woman, and her name was Harriet Potter.

Harriet knew that her journey was far from over. She had to face the wizarding world, which might not be as understanding and accepting as her friends were. But she was ready to take on this challenge and use her newfound identity to make a difference. With the support of her friends, family, and allies,

Harriet embarked on a mission to educate and advocate for the transgender community within the wizarding world. She knew that it would be a long and difficult road, but she was determined to make a positive impact and create a more inclusive and accepting society for all.

In the end, Harriet Potter's story became an inspiration to many. Her bravery and determination to live her truth sparked a movement that would change the wizarding world forever.

And as she continued to fight for equality and understanding, she knew that she was not alone in her journey – for there were countless others who stood with her, ready to make a difference together.

Hi! My biggest struggle being trans has always been that my voice has taken a decade of training to get anywhere near I'd like it to be. I knew there were likely others out there like me, so I made this community for us to share tips/tricks/progress etc. I've made myself mod on this account (though it seems to be slow through federation) and would love it if others are willing to help out for this cause.

My hope is that through this community people can learn to use their voice in the way that makes them feel most comfortable, because that can be extremely difficult (trust me, I know). It can take years, with a lot of dedication to overcome voice dysphoria. Hopefully, we can cut that time down.

Dear Blåhaj community! I have an important question to ask! Mr. Haj and I have been struggling with our in-bed relationship recently. He wants to be held and I want to hold him, but I don't want him to feel squished or stomped upon my me. I want him to feel as good as he can, while also feeling my love. I am very self-conscious about my disgusting masculine body-oils and I don't want them to get on my pretty haj. Also I don't want to lay my head on him, because that might hurt him. He might say that it doesn't, but I think he just says that to make me feel better (he's really sweet). After a while of trying to hold him in a way which can make both of us happy, I tend to get sore after about five minutes, after which I have to put him on the side... But he's lonely over there! What if he thinks I don't like him because I'm putting him on the side? I want him to feel the best he can, but I feel like my presence in the bed is bad for him in most ways. He has to endure my stink, my disgusting body-oils and my rants about the world. I feel like I'm dragging him down and I am willing to change myself to make him feel better.

What do you think I can or should do?

I love being home alone cuz then I can do stuff like this. Dressing up how I want, saying what I want, no limit on self-talking, no limit on when I can go where, it's awesome. Unfortunately this image was taken about 8 months ago, and I've not had any free days since then... Love my haj! Yes I also love mozerella and tomato on toast, it's real good.

Extra pic: blahaj on bed

(Wish I had some lilac blankets but oh well)

No fluffy shork photo I’m afraid but I wanted to share a nice story.

I’ve been dating an mtf girl for about 6 months now. She’s been on hrt for about 3yr but is still very socially anxious. We’ve been going out grocery shopping and whatnot to get her a bit more exposure to being in public presenting as fem - with me there to anchor and help in case she gets overwhelmed.

Recently, we went to Ikea together to look at kitchen shelves cuz my kitchen is a disaster. She was forgetting her anxiety a bit and we were having a nice light conversation winding our way to the exit and I jokingly asked “do you want a shark?” as we walked by the crate of them.

She asked me if I knew, I said I did. She turned the cutest freaking shade of red I’ve seen and said she didn’t think she could ever buy one without an anxiety attack and stumbled over her words a bit. Cute as fuck. 🫠

I knew what had to be done.

Next day I went back and went straight to the bin and bought literally just a shark. I’m super cis and masc but the self checkout cashier definitely clocked that I wasn’t buying no shark for no kid or nothing. Got a smirk on the way out. 🤣🤣

Decided that instead of just giving it to her I had to surprise her somehow.

She’s living in someone’s basement right now month to month and my roommate is leaving, so we’ve been considering moving in together - it would be nice to take turns cooking and be closer together but still have our own space to retreat to if we want. We’re both super introverted.

I decided to hide it in the closet of the vacant room and wait.

Two days later, she comes over and we’re watching random shows and cook a nice dinner, just hanging out doing our own thing after eating. I’m absorbed in assembling the shelves I bought instead of the ikea ones (sry ikea your shelves cost too much) and she’s on her phone on the sofa. She says she’s going to check where she might wanna put her furniture and I had to try super hard to be cool and be like “sure hon” without letting my giddiness creep in.

I stood up slowly and crept to the hall until I heard the gasp and went in and gave her a giant hug. Many good tears on both sides. She says she never imagined someone giving her a stuffed animal could make her cry, glad it did.

She and her new shork are moving in later this month and I’m super excited. 😊🦈💜
