For me both Memmy AND bean crash when trying to load my subscribed feed, but Memmy can load all and local.

One of the custom icons is a tin of Heinz so I would assume so!

They are actually different (but similar) animals, from different continents.

That’s definitely not senior dev behaviour, was he also involved in defining the best practices? If so he should 100% be following them as an example to other devs, and if he has an issue with individual parts (which is fine) he should discuss with the team about changing them.

Aversion to tests is also a really concerning problem I would say. And you should not have to fix his code in PR, it’s his code!! I’m afraid I don’t have any answers for you but you are right to find this unusual!

But people can still reply to posts so you'd need moderation still.

Interesting, that would make sense, although I am surprised that Minecraft still has that much marketing power after so long.

What year is it? Has AR made a deal with Minecraft or something? As far as I know Minecraft has no connection to Belgium, am I missing something obvious?

You rock, thanks!

This looks great, so polished already!

There's one thing missing that I've noticed a lot of Lemmy clients are missing that I used extensively in reddit clients, and that's the button to skip to the next level comment. It makes long comment threads much nicer to read. Any chance we could get that added?

On the case of this and Paul Walker I think it’s Ok, it’s productions they were already involved in and it’s avoiding risk to jobs etc. especially in the case of walker where they had has family involved and iirc his brother was the on set actor.

The article says they do not know each other. BBC news likely knows the rumoured identity of the presenter so perhaps they made the link? It does seem weird to ‘confirm’ it’s the same presenter, now anyone who knows either person likely knows the name, only a matter of time before it’s leaked whether or not anything has wrong has been done.
