A guy who wants to creep is not going to be stopped by a sign.

Maybe he will sit at a table and track who goes in and out of women's room and wait till there is no one in there, to go to "the wrong door by accident" and hide in stall.

A sign won't stop them. Punishment will...if you experience that report it. Get them arrested. If they try to make it physical punch scream kick scratch.

Its like locking your car doors. A car thief is likely to just break the window. Or just steal your catalytic converter.

It makes you feel safe but doesn't prevent crime.

I was almost killed by police years ago. I worked for a it company who was contracted to a credit union to basically be their it department. They were opening a new branch. I was there doing the final preparations as the grand opening was the next morning. Everything was done, I told the vp/cto/cfo who was my main contact that I would be back the next day but everything should be set so I was calling it a day. I had a notebook with passwords, ip addresses, etc. Which I left behind by accident. I walked out the door and there was 6 cop cars in a semi circle, cops behind their car doors, guns pointed at me, screaming "get down with your hands above your head". I'm not a fool so I got on the ground. Luckily the vp saw I left my notebook and walked out to give it to me before I drove off. He walked out and got same screaming. He basically gave them his name and titles and we were brought into the building and found the CEO.

Turns out they installed a security system and the security company tested the system to ensure it was working. They forgot to inform the cops that it was a test. The best part was I was there when the cops gave essentially a ticket for false report to the ceo, I forget the cost but it was in the tens of thousands. The ceo took the ticket "thank you officer" and without missing a beat just turned to the guy from the security company "and this is for you". No question, no negotiation, just like you fucked up and I'm not covering it.

I have no experience or first hand knowledge of this but I saw a video with prostitutes being interviewed years ago. They said a depressingly large amount of people hired them just to talk and converse. No sex. Just talking like a good friend because the person hiring them didn't have any. They just wanted someone to be their friend. It was really sad.

I just remembered one of the stories where the girl said one of the guys was a early 50s man who was sometype of manager. He would hire her about every other week. They would go to a dinner and just talk about random stuff for an hour or two over coffee and some light food. She said he previously had a wife who died during child birth(daughter also died) and he couldn't bring himself to be with another woman because he loved his wife so much. He stopped calling her and after about 2 months she tried asking around if anyone had seen him. It turned out he took his own life. She started crying in the video because she couldn't go to funeral as it was several weeks earlier and wished she could have said good bye to him.

Ok, I'm all for cutting down on cars/trucks... Do they have enough public transportation to make this viable??

Plus I can see apartments now increase prices, "well we include a parking lot for your car"

I always thought about what it would be like to work at the unemployment office... Get fired... Next day you have to go back and be like "good morning Sheila, can I get a copy of form 2431-b please?"

I know it's hard to get a hotel room in dragon con but just once I want some one to happen to have a business meeting. They book a hotel room and are just utterly confused about all the other guests....

I have no love for Microsoft but their naming is one of the worst parts... Let's make a game console! We'll call it Xbox!... That sold well let make another! We'll call it xbox360... Time for a refresh on the gaming console! We'll call it Xbox one... Another refresh but this time let's make two versions! We'll call them Xbox one series s and x box one series s!

Or our popular ide is bloated and people are asking for a light weight ide... What's our current ide called? Visual studio but alot of people abbreviate it to vs! Let's call the new one vscode! Do they have anything in common or share functionality or shortcuts? No

Don't get me started on windows.. 3.1... 95...nt...98...2000...me...vista...7...8....10...11 like wtf???

This is actually a cool idea. Have an experienced dm in the house, have a website where people sign up (1 person upto a full party, or you can join other people's parties if they mark it as public. ). Have a one off campaign with the group, have some food and maybe a few light drinks, 3-4 beds for people. Charge $150-$200 per person per night... I could see it working. Say 4 times a months, parties of 5, that's $3000 a month. Could probably pay mortgage and the food and drinks. Make it every Friday, Saturday and Sunday... That $9000 a month, easily cover expenses in a major city and probably afford the dm a comfortable life...

I think what they are going for is you know all your secrets and insecurities. You might know what you look like before make up, or as you decompress from a hard day of work. You might wear baggy shirt to cover a small belly. You might wear flowing dresses because you don't like your ass.

You compare that to people who wear yoga pants because they are proud of their ass. Or people who spent 45 minutes doing their hair and makeup that morning. You might see a guy with his shirt off because he spent hours in the gym working on his abs.

You know how you act/look your worst at home alone. You compare to how others look when they are out in public and dressed to impress.
