Green olives. None of my cooking use them as an ingredient, so once in a blue moon I remember that I like them, so I eat an entire jar with a toothpick.

Bulls can lick their own balls.

Source: I grew up on a farm.

Also, cows have a lot in common with dogs, behavior wise. I think it comes with being herd animals.

Then WTF did the plants do to you?

Awesome! I'm one of the guys peer pressuring you in the other thread, and I'm glad to see it worked.

It also just so happened that you went for the same distro that I use on my desktop.

What's going to be the primary use of this laptop other than having linux installed? Any projects or use cases in mind? I'm asking because I found out some time around the turn of the century hat the best way to learn linux is to use it for something one would otherwise do in Windows.

One word: reVanced

More words: No need to thank me. Thank the developers instead.

Christ, that article was hard to read, with 90% of it dedicated to the importance of palm oil, and random ads making you believe the article is finished. So, here's the part that matters:

Food experts at Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh say their new 100% plant-based ingredient is 70% better for the environment.

And with 80% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories, they are also hailing PALM-ALT as a significantly healthier option.

Catriona Liddle, one of the lead developers on the QMU team, said: “It’s the holy grail to replace it and still have exactly the same end result in product – to taste the same and have the texture the same – and we’ve done that.

“We’ve put it through some special sensory testing to see if a panel can tell the difference between our product and traditional palm shortening, and they can’t.”

The new PALM-ALT product is described as having a mayonnaise-style consistency.

It is made from a by-product from the linseed industry, plus natural fibre and rapeseed oil.

Valid, but rarely used, as it's usually just as fast to say "two hundred meters" instead of "two hecto meters".

However, those prefixes have other (non-SI) uses. A hectare is common way of referring to a 100x100 meter area. And a decare is 10 ares, i.e. 0.1 hectare.

At my old job we had some of these on the wall for hanging our hardhats.

There's no way Meta will not appeal. I'm sure it'll end up in our supreme courts eventually.

I'm convinced Glitch McConnel is to GOP what Tito was to Yugoslavia. After he's gone, what he once held together will tear itself apart from the inside.

If windows didn't exist, linux would dominate with the problems you describe, and we'd still see this meme, but advocating for FreeBSD instead.

That being said, I like them both. It's been a while since I last used bsd, so I think it's about time I give it another spin.
