Red Hat 5.1 CD from a magazine. Ended up at fedora and couldn't be happier.

I knew something was off, I never really could watch his channel for some reason. This is one more hint that my intuition wasn't wrong.

Vielleicht bin ich ja zu alt aber kann mir jemand mal erklären woher der Trend kommt alles wortwörtlich zu übersetzen? Macht vieles unlesbar und mir erschließt sich der Sinn nicht wirklich? Lustig finde ich es auch nur milde.

You have two options to switch to systemd-boot on Fedora:

Use inst.sdboot as kernel parameter while installing Fedora, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/cleanup_systemd_install

Or use conversation scripts systemd-boot-conversion provided by Sebastiaan Franken

I used the script for two of my installations without any issues: systemd-boot-install-fedora-no-secureboot.sh

Btrfs and subvolumes are your friends. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/btrfs#Subvolumes

If we could fix the issue with non working Google Wallet/Google Pay, that would be great.

But it is also worrying that there there seems to be only Apple and Google Pay in Europe - no alternative solution for wireless paying.

Other than that, Lineage OS on my 9T feels great. Battery life got almost doubled and it feels great to use a device with all current security patched installed. Next step would be to use a completely degoogled version with only FOSS software installed - just for some app there are no real alternatives available: Banking app, Fitness watch app, Carsharing app etc

Could this be any more sad? :(
