Replace the splitter. Splitters go bad. I just replace them to be safe if having any issues.

So here’s the deal you’re in the 1.2 gig zone. Shit ain’t cheap. All troubleshooting happens on your end. Cables, cords and issues are on you.

If you are unfamiliar there’s no such thing as limiting speeds. Roku? It’s a lie. Asus you can go in a restrict and slow. It’s work. Other option you shut down when you get close. You get 3 complementary overages a year last I knew. The issue you. Can’t fight the speed. It’s gonna go as fast as it can. Speed used to be a 75 modem and router. It’s not. My modem was 150, had a coupon. Wi-Fi. What’s your budget. Unless you’re buying to slow there will be many instances you need to take the xfi unlimited deal.

I upgraded to the surfboard s33 last Sunday. My wife is asus ax6200 Triband. Everything is registered. All connected. Replaced cables with 6a Ethernet.

Any suggestions? I’ve done one call with xfinity saying all is fine.

Mainly a desktop is direct wired. Thank you.

I have my modem and Wi-Fi separate. I upgraded but just went with the 1 gig (I don’t care about extra 200mbps). I have a surfboard which has worked flawlessly for years. It runs max 686 mbps at most so I’m going to upgrade. It’s running at over 400 on average now. My asus rt-AX92U Wi-Fi works great so I’m leaving it alone. I upgraded because my discount was ending and it was $10 extra.

Arris Surfboard S33 or SB8200 (slower upload but I don’t really upload so I don’t care). I do not do refurbished electronics. Open to other recommendations. I won’t use phone lines.

FYI the $5 savings if I stick their Wi-Fi modem on xfi is not worth it. I went through 3. They can’t handle bridge mode well.
