It's insane to me that conservatives hide behind religion and idolize people with incomprehensible amounts of wealth. It also occurs to me that none of these extremely wealthy people who are seen as leaders have any grasp on the teachings of Christianity and are not concerned with the afterlife.

I'm not saying having wealth is inherently sinful but having the means to effect positive change and instead continuing to line your pockets while the world burns when you already have enough wealth to live a hundred or thousand lifetimes in absolute luxury probably earns you a special place in hell, if it exists.

Bill Burr is probably the only person I know of who didn't completely change once he got rich and famous, he's a national treasure at this point

Zebras are scary AF man. They will bite you and are very food aggressive. I went through one of these petting drive through zoos years ago, they have signs posted that say not to feed the zebras.... After feeding cows, bulls, horses, ostriches(which were scariest) I forgot to be cautious with the zebra. I tried to feed one and it bit down on my hand extremely hard. All the other animals were super chill and they grab the food with their lips/tongue but zebras seem to not be able to restrain themselves. They're crazy

Undocumented is kind of a funny term, because the government basically says "we're not giving you permission to legally acquire employment because you're not supposed to be here, but if you DO find employment, pay taxes using this ITIN number(pseudo social)"

I came across this early in my career in networking. I ended up having to support another technicians customer(we primarily managed our own workloads) and he did not use the tools(vault) we had to manage the network equipment credentials, so I always had to call him and ask him what the password is and why he doesn't update it in the vault(it frequently changed) ... After bothering him enough about it he said it was job security.

This was a 45k entry level job that he was years into. Why someone would want job security at the bottom part of the totem pole is beyond me, but that is where I mostly came across tribalistic tendencies(I worked in a lot of small/medium sized companies before getting a big break)

If I look up those people on LinkedIn, they're exactly where they were or in another lateral position. They don't tend to make it very far.

Probably because routine mandatory tests are bad, and the comment you replied to is an endorsement to it. It's a gross violation of your constitutional rights under the 4th amendment. Also, why do you care to make assumptions on why people downvoted if you're not even making an effort to broaden your views?

Basically PH and other xxx sites need you to verify your identity by uploading your ID. It's what should be unconstitutional and a violation of privacy.

Rise against was kind of my introduction to protest rock before I got into my long term love interest prog rock. As a young adult it was powerful to hear songs talk about socioeconomic issues so openly. I still enjoy listening to them and while growing up they inspired me to be a part of activist efforts, especially after learning/reading about Aaron Swartz. I wish the world felt like something that could be changed, but instead it feels like something that changes you. Best you can do is offer a helping hand and be there for those you care about and occasionally offer a helping hand to strangers when you're able to.

Sometimes I listen to them while ironically working for a megacorporation

Honestly asking here, can't they just appeal the conviction to the supreme court and get it thrown out? The supreme court has been abusing it's power for a while now, thanks to the stacked GOP judges

As far as I know, the only thing that the new python integration helps with is that users don't have to install Python or have to know how to use pip to install packages like pandas, because Python doesn't run locally. It is neat how you can visualize data and show it inline with the Excel document though. My industry is very regulated, so we won't be able to use it since the data you pass to Python goes to Azure for processing

I've heard from some friends/family that are trying to break into entry level cybersecurity or programming roles and it's extremely difficult right now, why do you think there seems to be such a high demand for skilled workers but seemingly no demand for entry level?

That's great, can you elaborate what you mean by ops>devops? Do you support infrastructure or applications? I know devops is kind of a catch-all term now for automation, did you work on understanding cloud deployments from the POV of the servers/application or from infra?

I only ask because some of what I do is considered "devops" in the sense that I'm working on network automation, but a lot of times when I hear people discuss devops they're talking about supporting applications
