so whenever i hear an english person talk on tv or my gf points out that her ancestry is english, me and her ex (who also happens to be my ex) say "ELLO GUVNA!! CHEERIO OLD CHAP!" and i shout it at the tv. am i racist? i hope not...

i found it when looking at someone's post and seeing that they were part of a community called this it looks like. it's a conlang created by someone on lemmy and while i heard that this user wasnt doing the best mentally, they are likely doing better now. either way, this is about their conlang. when searching, i also found that they have a queer/lgbt community in the ua language.

so my friend is genderfluid and his dad is pretty supportive of ice and thinks my friend will "always be a girl" and is just "delusional". also, i'm russian. my parents are russian and my dad is part-russian and mainly german. he has no problem with us, probably because we are documented and not colored. but even if someone is documented, they get accused of being "illegal" so many times, it's so annoying

so im kind of a mess. just turned 15 yesterday, mentally ill, just got checked out at the doctor for bulimia and trying to eat without gagging myself, and lgbt. i am nonbinary fem and pansexual :,) do you have any advice for me? life can be hard, especially for someone like me imo.

for me, id have to say 7th and 8th grade, but mainly 8th. full of hormonal, crazy 13 and 14 year olds who harassed me, found my number and address, and treated me like a subhuman.

so ive seen several nicknames for my name, veronika. ive seen vero, vera, ronnie, and even nika. however, i live in the united states so im scared that if i have teachers call me nika, kids will "think" im calling myself a racial slur (the n-word) even tho i went to middle school with a nika/nikka (i forgot how to spell her name). i'm nonbinary, so ronnie could work for being short for ron, maybe aaron or veronika/veronica, but i dont really like masculine terms even tho there are plenty of girls named ronnie.

i already go by vero at school sometimes, especially since in my spanish class, vero was listed as a nickname for my spanish name, which is just verónica. i am also russian-american and vera is a name there in russia. ive heard of some russian girls and characters with the name.

иванов/иванова (ivanov/a) is common, кузнецов/а (kuznetsov/a) is “smith”

i am also 14 and a freshman btw, she turns 15 in july and me this month.

cw: self harm, ed
i do self-harm like cutting, but i havent in a while, i was thinking of relapsing though... i already stick my finger down my throat n stuff but as a girl who grew up religious, does god care? would he be upset??? i also have been contemplating suicide lately but won't decide to go through. i just feel fat so i take up space figuratively and literally. im 180 lbs...

i think its wrong to force your religion onto others. that being said, i do believe in god, but not the church's rules and homophobia. i try not to force my beliefs

had a middle school ex in seventh grade who called me a “weird bisexual” and “bowling ball /bowling ball stomach”. had another kid who was a popular girl spread a rumor abt me that i was a lesbian with a crush on her bc i asked for her number but stuttered saying it because i was very socially awkward. i was fat shamed sometimes in school and shamed bc ppl thought i was a lesbian because my ex-friend outed me when i said i had a crush on a girl

that sux brooo i hate transphobessss ;-;

once you turn 18 though, you can take all the T you want.

if it were me, it may not be the best advice, but go along with him being a girl maybe in front of ur *i mean dad but still try to avoid using pronouns unless you have to. then, thinking you're hanging out with a cis tomboy, he'll allow u to hang out with him and do whatever u want!!!!!

u two can then become manly men at 18+!!!

[-] therealverobiscuit@piefed.social 10 points 3 months ago

you could probably use the neuter pronoun "оно" maybe, but idk how that would work or if people use it. you could also just use он/она

thanks! i know rekabu.ru seems to be a good one too, not sure about szmer.info, it says they speak russian and there is a community for russian articles but it seems more for polish speakers.
