That's hilarious, but not really the same thing.

I had to give up on Soulslike games. It's not that I can't do it, it's that every boss makes me feel frustrated for 30 mins to an hour and I'm cursing a blue streak, pissed off when I'm supposed to be having fun. Not worth it to me or my blood pressure.

The prequels were redeemed? That's news to me.

Been listening to the 5-4 podcast about how much the Supreme Court sucks and it's been partisan bullshit forever, but yeah Citizens United will probably be considered the death of American Democracy (even though it was terminally ill beforehand).

The Court will literally just make up rules out of thin air to justify whatever the fuck they want.

What are you going to criticize Republicans for? Sure, they're morally bankrupt and destroying the country, but they're doing exactly what their dipshit voters asked for and succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.

Democrats are the ones who are being laughably inept at what they claim to want.

Flak cannon all the way, but I spent many days in high school instagibbing my friends so the shock rifle does hold a special place in my heart.

Ground level infrastructure meaning the ability to get people out to do anything from marching to rioting to picketing to canvassing to voting. The Civil Rights movement wouldn't have gotten anywhere if it hadn't actually mobilized people and thus made people aware of / afraid of organized resistance. The Black Panthers deserve a lot of credit as well for being the armed hard core of the movement.

We'd get a lot more of what we want peacefully if oligarchs were afraid we'd rally and fuck up their businesses bottom lines AND that they might get assassinated by radicals.

Dallas is bigger than this map and 90% of it is parking lot or interstate.

Yeah, I don't really see much of an issue here. If you get a defective chip back, it's probably a good data point to know if it was "abused". Even if it's just so you can ask more questions, or prioritize problems that show up on non-OC'd chips rather than flat rejecting an RMA.

Stargate is... its own thing, but if you like it then Stargate Atlantis is good.

Personally, I never felt like any of it was ever as good as even mediocre Trek, and it definitely has this military fetishism / combat focus that I didn't care for as much, but there are some pretty good and fun episodes as well and there's a ton of Trek/90s scifi alums you'll recognize (including Connor Trinneer playing a big bad that is definitely not Trip Tucker).

I love IV and it's definitely the Trek movie that cheers me up the most, but Undiscovered Country is the best TOS movie. Great cast, huge canon implications, great sendoff.
