In my opinion i'd say decent, if it was M2 i'd say good and if intel i'd say bad. An M1 is decent but I wouldn't want it in 2023, considering I can get one with the same specs but M2 for $1,800 US which is only $600 more I wouldn't want to buy it.

I suggest buying your mac where you live, buying your mac where you live is good if you live somewhere that has a different keyboard than the USA. Personally i'd wait for the M3 MacBook air or buy a MacBook pro. Waiting until the M3 MacBook air will allow you to get the newest updates and features longer.
