You’re right, I think I’ll just play more casually. Do you have any links or recommendations so I don’t miss anything important? The only thing I know is that I can’t let the fire burn forever in Scene 1.

I'm trying to make sure I don't miss any quests or items in BG3. Are there any good ways to track quests, hidden stuff, or collectibles? Any mods or tools that help with keeping track of everything? Would love to hear any tips from other completionists!

[-] tatoko556@reddthat.com 3 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

on ios it can be achieved with shorcuts, not sure about android

[-] tatoko556@reddthat.com 3 points 5 days ago

I found this too, but bidirectional support is important to me. I’m also not sure how it would work between Android and iOS.

Looking for recommendations for an open-source, peer-to-peer clipboard sync that works across iOS, Android, and Windows and Linux, with no central servers or accounts, best to have end-to-end encryption). Does anything like this already exist, or is this still an unsolved gap?

WebRTC isn’t magic. WebRTC does not bypass a VPN, nor is it the only–or even most common–way that software on your phone, Android or otherwise, can exfiltrate potentially sensitive information, intentionally or unintentionally. The way WebRTC on your phone might leak an IP is that during ICE, which is used by more than just WebRTC, the phone’s local IP addresses may be sent, and IPv6 addresses on your WiFi or cell connection may be globally unique. IPv4 local addresses will almost certainly be meaningless, private addresses due to IPv4 address space exhaustion, and any non-local address will be from your VPN gateway.

You cannot block ICE per app or system wide because it is not a system facility, and the permissions required to implement it on Android are not very specific.

I think what @i_am_not_a_robot@discuss.tchncs.de meant is block connections without vpn is enough. though I'm not quite sure

Can Android apps use WebRTC, or is WebRTC only available in browsers?

If Android apps can use WebRTC, how can it be blocked per app or system-wide to prevent IP address leaks?

This could be a huge privacy risk, if you use android, VPN cannot help you to hide yourself from any app that use webrtc.

Hi, I use Tailscale, but it's very frustrating for me that it starts automatically almost constantly, at a random moment, using the network data, and I have no idea what to do with it.

I've disabled startup, see the screenshot below:

But it still appears constantly in my task manager, using the network and causing it to slow down greatly. The only way to deal with it is to end the task manually via the task manager, which is quite inconvenient, as you can understand.

It always appears when I start my Windows and can also appear later when I try to exit it after usage.

How can I prevent it from launching without my permission?

Anyone here ever tried keeping a Markdown note next to their movie files? I’m talking about something like having a MovieName (Year).mkv and a MovieName (Year).md living in the same folder.

I was thinking it could be a nice way to keep personal notes about the movie, quick thoughts after watching, trivia, or even just a record of when and which version I watched. Since Markdown is plain text, it feels future-proof and easy to edit from anywhere.

Just looking to see how other people handle notes or metadata outside of the usual movie database apps.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for help with a WireGuard routing issue on my GL.iNet router.

https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/en/4/tutorials/wireguard_server_access_to_client_lan_side/#how-to-access-wireguard-client-lan-side-from-server

  • I set the Target Address to 192.168.8.0/24.
  • I set the Gateway to 10.1.0.1.
  • After applying this, devices can still connect to the GL.iNet Wi-Fi, but there is no internet access.
  • The router’s admin panel at http://192.168.8.1/ is no longer accessible.

Has anyone experienced this before, or can explain what went wrong and how to recover access without a full reset?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there software that tracks movies and TV shows I've watched and lets me manually add them to my library?

I use Jellyfin, but it lacks this feature. I'm looking for a solution that allows me to create placeholders for shows or seasons I've watched elsewhere, without having to download or create empty MP4 files.

It would be even better if this software integrates with Jellyfin.
