And even if it minimizes in the stage manager it will not align with other apps in the stage (either slightly to the left or too right)

There are bugs in this stage manager when you select, hold and drag a app to another window and back to the previous window, the app will still be there but u can't click on it. You can't close it minimize it or maximize it either. You can still access window setting for that app.
