C is a general purpose programming language. People also use it for high level software in certain parts of the software world, not just low level.

I just have a few more features left that I want to implement and that’ll conclude the development of the core package manager but rest depends on bringing packages into the repository

512GB SD card from Samsung or sandisk costs $50 in my country whereas those micro SSDs start at $120 for some reputable brands like Kingston

What kind of games do you play?

Spiderman 1 took me 2-ish weeks to platinum. Miles Morales platinum took just 3 days. That was during a vacation and I clocked in 6-8 hours of gaming in a day for miles morales. Main game is like 6 hours + a few hours for the extras and NG+ makes the game a lot easier + I played on friendly neighbourhood. It's pretty doable.

You can always connect with people at college or workplace. I’d find it rare for someone to turn down a request to play minecraft. It’s the only game that I managed to get my friends playing

People are too ignorant to care about spyware and privacy. Can't do much about that.

Debian is a stable operating system and as user friendly as mint once you get past the installation.

Mint also uses a Ubuntu base but Debian has better quality of packages and is less likely to break.

LMDE is also a good option in this case
