"Bean catastrophe" sounds like what happens when my devout Vegan friend goes to bed with her equally vegan, kimchee loving husband. But I'd rate that as being the opposite of horny.

Are there any Linux phones in the US?

Dear Jolla, please make them available in the US.

Is everybody on Lemmy horny all the time?

This app is available as a #free #download from the link, and should also be available for free from your app store, for #iOS and #Android. There is a paid version, and also a free use version. The free use version is plenty enough #weather #information, unless you are a meteorologist.

Information on the app comes directly from #NOAA

I agree. I suffered a stroke in 2013 and saw numerous Dr's both at that time, and since then. I've recovered and it did change my personality -- BUT -- it did not make me an arsehole and I never betrayed my core values or stop representing at my job. Maybe I was lucky, or blessed, but if I can come back from the edge of existence and still choose what's morally right, I absolutely expect that from someone in a position of authority.

If can't, or won't, represent the people who voted for him, he needs to step down. If Fetterman had been voted in as a Republican, and switched sides to Democrat, Trump would have hung him out to dry.

Hey, thanks? Speaking of local, I am attending the No Kings 3 march in my city on March 28th. I'm taking extra drinks and snacks, just in case. I'm not recruiting anybody to that cause, but I feel like it's time to make better choices. I've been trying to steer away from using Meta, Google, or Amazon, as much as possible, and I've been hired by one of the few local companies that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.

But my efforts to discuss sensible changes have been met with resistance, even from my Liberal friends. I respect their rights to choose what is appropriate for themselves and their families, but I can also understand why citizens of other countries would be alarmed or even pissed off. Literally nobody asked for this energy-related disaster.

I just hope we can continue to get the word out that most Americans did not want this war, or any other war. But I get it when people outside of the United States blame American citizens, especially white Americans, because a lot of them did vote of him 3x.

Thanks so much for your message, though. It helps.

This is what I came to say but probably better phrased.

I apologize to the planet for having been born a white American. I had no control over that part, but we do tend to be selfish arseholes and I'm sure I've made my fair share of bad choices. However, voting Republican for president has never been one of them.

I did expect to see Grump gleefully throw Kegsbreath under the bus at some point. He loves to do that when word gets outside if the United States that he's actually unpopular here and most citizens don't like him, or his minions of death.

I am really enjoying Libby! Who doesn't love getting entertainment for free, especially books in any form. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you 💗

A longtime friend suggested I try #audiobooks from my local #library, then I discovered #Libby in my app store. Free audiobooks!!! I downloaded Hidden Figures tonight, to enjoy tomorrow.

Ok, I aplogize for this stupid question, but what is the military advantage to bombing hospitals? Or is the US govt just beyond caring about any lives other than heir own?

Actually, I agree with you, which saddens me. I voted for Bernie anyway. I had to type his name into the voting machine. I knew Bernie had no chance, but I felt like I should stick with my principles. When Biden was chosen over Bernie, I felt a shift in the Force. I was glad Biden won, but also recognized that somehow the political terrain had changed, possibly beyond recognition.

All of the major political players are just that, players in a neverending game of ... whatever this is.

Ok, I'll admit I'm surprised to see the Dems have have relocated their cojones. That's good, but let's take it to the next level and find a way to prevent the government from a literal and complete nosedive into martial law?

The only thing that surprises me is where he admitted any wrongdoing.
