This does not surprise me at all because of this parallel. When researching Canada's Avro Arrow, many articles came up mentioning how the US would wine and dine Canada's military elites to convince them, and in turn convince the Prime Minister at the time to dump the Arrow. We all know what happened then. Political interference at its finest. We also know the reason was, hook, line and sinker, Canada's dependency on the US for military equipment, and not mentioning one US Senator commented, We don't need the compensation, "especially from Canada." Alberta's separatist movement had better think wisely.

Throughout Trump's Presidency, all he does is threaten and demean everyone to keep the world off balance, and he is quite good at it, however, I would not play his silly game or read any more of his media. There was an excellent older movie out that explains how the US government works. It is a must-see movie for all people caught up in his bullshit and the ones before him. >>>>> It's called (Wag the Dog) all-star cast. <<<<

The monarchy has never commented or defended Canada in any way during Trump's first or second term. I would not hold my breath waiting for the Brits to help us.

I have to admit that part of the film always sticks with me.

Did you know many of our politicians have dual US-Canada citizenship papers? Some days I have to wonder, what side are they really on?

What I don't understand is, if a crown corporation is losing billions of dollars, someone is not doing their job. Roll some heads, starting with Doug Ettinger, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Canada Post,

"I hope to see you again some time." Honestly, I hope so to.

I gave this comment before, but how come we do not buy fruits and vegetables from Cuba instead of the U.S.? I know the US. the propaganda machine keeps running Cuba down and still upset from 60 years ago; however, they are tropical, they have fertile land, and they need the money. What is the problem???

It's reported that 'although dry weather contributed', stupid people and unattended campfires are the main cause of these out-of-control fires.

sorry folks, I don't agree, 'destroy incoming missiles aimed at North America is not totally correct, Missiles aimed at the US and shot down over Canada is more correct. Any map would show that any hostility would go over Canada's airspace first on its way south. Normally, I would not comment on NORAD or the golden dome that Canada will be spending large on. But I am kinda peeved at the US at the moment.
