Wholly agreed. The NRC recommendations are ridiculously excessive and are blocking the actual creation of nuclear power plants, which are going to become more and more necessary.

I'm gonna have to cast doubt on this. They aren't going down without a fight; chances are even if Oneida Co kicks them out, they'll be back in another iteration somewhere else.

True, but it's mostly replaced coal generation, with at least one major coal plant that I'm aware of (PPPP in Kenosha County) being completely shuttered and demolished in the last decade. Natural gas generation isn't clean or carbon-neutral, but it produces significantly less carbon emissions than coal.

True, but that housing supply will be gobbled up by out of state investment buyers and pushed out of affordable range for actual homebuyers without something being done to block them.
