user squarecoats1 on twitter has made a map with all of the contractors and subcontractors in the US involved in many of the weapons and materiel being used in the genocide, including hellfire missiles and F35s. there's a lot of nitty gritty details in here, nearly 700 locations on the map, tracking who makes even the smallest parts of some of this stuff. they have also included a spreadsheet with the raw data that users can pore through since the site where they uploaded the map only allows 1000 visitors per month. pretty interesting

Starman (1984) an underappreciated john carpenter, working outside his wheelhouse but it is one of his best movies. so funny that after The Thing bombed because of ET he was like "oh yeah? you wish my shapeshifting alien movie was a heartwarming spielberg-ass hollywood picture, huh? alright then, i'll give you what you want". great performance by Jeff Bridges but the movie's really carried by Karen Allen. wish i could've had more time with the two of them i could've watched a dozen more bizarre faux pas (pases?) from the weird dude from outer space
