Question for #devcontainer experts: should the container stop when you exit the editor/IDE? Or when you close the project in the editor/IDE? Or neither, and it just stays running? (If it matters, I'm by scottslowe in c/zed@programming.dev

@lascapi I guess that would be fine, now that I think about it; in theory, the Devcontainer should take up little to no resources when running.

OK, I have created my own #devcontainer image and I have started testing it with using a small project. So far, so good. (fosstodon.org)

Once I get the hang of using the next step is to switch all my personal projects to use Devcontainers. You can bank on the fact I'll be pestering @usrbinkat with all my questions during that (fosstodon.org)

I'm really trying to get the hang of using (switching from Sublime Text). I like the speed, but you can tell there are some rough edges here and there. (fosstodon.org)
