I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my baby girl last Friday and I was devastated. She was senior when we adopted her after we found her as a stray wandering our neighborhood. I knew this and yet still she brought so much joy into our lives, we loved each other so much. After only 2.5 years, she got her Lymphoma diagnosis and I was crushed. She started palliative care and a month later we had to stay goodbye. I had planned to call in home euthanasia services the following week, but on July 4th she woke up in pain and we had to rush her to the emergency vet to put an end to her pain. she passed while I stroked her head recounting our memories spent together. I miss her so much. sending you a big hug. picture of my sweet baby dog resting at the park

I’m sorry you experienced that as a child during your formative years. I had a stepmom who was often especially cruel to me, which became apparent in the way she treated her own child many years later. It’s hard and unfair, but it builds character, I suppose. sorry I wish I had something more inspiring to say. I understand how you feel though, minus the autism aspect.

you might be surprised the air bnb host might be willing to switch the dates. I’ve had similar experiences where I’ve had to do the same. be kind to yourself. I have no idea if this will post but if it doesn’t or if it posts 10x just know I tried to reassure you because I know how shitty that feeling is but it truly happens to the best of us.

I have no idea what just happened to my last comment. I meant to say that I’ve had Air Bnb hosts surprise me before and make exceptions when I’ve needed to make last minute changes. Give it a shot, you may find they are more accommodating than you thought. Most importantly, be kind to yourself.

Not okay when candidates are being funded my the masses in small donations, but sure let’s turn a blind eye to spacex Donating millions, musk personally donating millions, and on and on. Outrageous.

Server down screenshot

link to verify not you let us know link overlap screenshot

Eventbrite sends email verifying it’s me, puts the link for “Not you, let us know” almost overlapping with verify link.

If you manage to actually select the verify link, of course, the servers are conveniently down. Not to mention all of the irrelevant and invasive data pilfering questions they ask such as: what is your age, gender, highest level of education. Totally necessary to attend a concert, right? Fuck you, EventShite!!

Yea missing the obvious warning signs like “gang members sitting in on job interviews”. Totally normal.

Agree with the body shaming, plenty of shit drivers across the spectrum. Don’t care so much about cars being fun as a means to justify their prevalence. But to acknowledge the counter argument of the culture we seek to criticize does have its merits in effective debate.
