Link Speed = 1000/1000 (Mbps) but files transfer at 3MB/s in c/[email protected]

Thanks. My laptop is a few years old alright. How would I check the laptop HD read speeds and the NAS write speeds? It's a Synology NAS with some WD Red drives (abt two years old so I supsect the laptop) thanks

I am transferring files from my Windows Laptop to my Synology NAS.

Ethernet says link speed is 1000/1000(Mbps)

Files transfer very slowly.

Anything to check?
