I think for the big apps like Whatsapp and Facebook it makes sense that the companies want to hide the features that give users control beyond the "standard" way of using the app in places where they cannot find it.

Coming from my perspective a little. Iran is a part of BRICS now and Lula has defended Iran in latest interviews. Let's see how things develop and if Iran representatives will come to Rio (for the BRICS Summit). This is troubling.

It's incredible how that proprietary software is actually inefficient e-waste. Most FOSS isn't bloated or slow, but proprietary software got the high ground because of contracts and "security", I'm sure.

I'm sorry, but it's a private messaging app! Not even the owners are supposed to know what is going on in the chats. It's not a moderation situation - I don't know if he rejected a request to ban accounts, but it isn't how things are supposed to be.
