@alexc Yes but the US doesn't prevent you from that and won't jail you for that. Canada enforces that law.
@alexc It's citizens that bring those Guns into Mexico. It's legal to do so until they've crossed into Mexico. So in theory if we see you on the US side of the border heading into Mexico with a nominally legal weapon, we're not suppose to stop you.
Trump essentially promised that this would change. Which is a pretty big deal as that's how a lot of guns come into Mexico for the Cartels.
@JOMusic It's actually a pretty big concession Trump gave up. Theoretically we're not allowed to restrict the flow of firearms out of the country because of the 2nd Amendment. So it opens up a whole can of worms as to how legally we'll restrict that flow of weapons (or even if we can).

@dhork @cowfodder They used to have that. There was a 3 yard "imaginary halo" and you had to start your slide with at least three yards of separation for a penalty.
It might make sense to bring that back or at least make it a 5yrd vs. 15yrd if the QB slides late.
Same with the sideline. They should draw a second line 3 yards out of bounds and if you're hit in that line late it's a 5yrd penalty, outside of it 15yrds (and maybe an ejection).

@SatansMaggotyCumFart Harris was also widely unpopular even among Democrats. When she ran for President in 2020 she received less than 1,000 votes nationally. She was on the ballot in California our home state and we couldn't get her over 1,000 votes.
She's just not a good electoral candidate. Had Biden dropped out late 2023 and the Dems held a primary with debates and such; she never would have been chosen as the candidate.
Harris could have had a any stance(s) she wanted, she was doomed to fail from the beginning.

Support for Gay Rights/Marriage, Universal Health Care, a proto-energy New Deal, lobbyist refore (pre SuperPac Era), military pullout from Iraq were all on the left side of the 2008 Dem party and he ran hard on all those; especially in the primary.
