obligatory I'm a (male) cross dresser and I like how hold ups feel. Bonus point because in winter they serve as a first layer under my other clothes.

I'm 5' 12" tall, skinny built and months ago I bought a L size from falke. I adjusted them to the same height, walked about 10 minutes and suddenly the left one started to fall. The right one always stayed in place.

I don't use lotions or creams but I never shave my legs, so maybe my (not so) hairy legs are the problem? If so, how come only the left hold up fell?

Should I fold the hold ups so the silicone bands touch when I'm not using them? does that help to keep them in good condition?

Does it help to clean the silicone bands with tepid water and a cotton cloth after use?

Would you advice to wear both hold ups and a garter belt? Seems to be too much and if I use a plane I'll be outed (metal clips)

I measured my feet, checked my size on a chart and bought a pair of high heels. Apparently women's feet are thinner than men's, but I never thought they were that much thinner. Shoe fits but it hurts.

Foot measures are 27 cm long and 10 cm wide across the ball (10.62'' long and 3.93'' in imperial)

I compared the heels to my unisex sneakers: sneakers are 11 cm (4.33'') wide across the ball and the heels 7.5 cm (2.95'').

I don't believe any heel brand makes 10 cm (3.93'') wide heels.

People have recommended me to go a bigger size, but a larger size is going to be longer and will fall off.
