seems about right. at this point my plan is to buy a small bit of land somewhere and plop some modular/tiny homes on it and call it good. not that it's just that easy, but i'd rather try to find some resemblance of normalcy than play the rigged game.

yeah, being exposed to cigarette smoke is not ideal.

my issue with this law is that it feels immensely inconsistent: cars, and guns kill a huge amount of people per year. likely more than cigarettes, but i can't verify that rn. why not put some effort into those problems?

it's true every time i go to the local LGBT center they make me pee in the litter box to gain entry :(

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 months ago

exactly.

many of the mundane atrocities being committed every day are deliberate choices in service of capital rather than people.

you know, health insurance companies, etc.

actually had a great time with D4's story.

the service game elements detract from replayability though.

the current republican party is full of christian nationalist money.

so, yeah, it may need to be destroyed and split into a "here's where you christians can spew out your domination propaganda" and "here's actual conservatism with room for compromise."

nope. i'm immeasurably frustrated with the system as a whole and believe biden to be cut from the same cloth as other presidents: barely disguised puppets for the ownership class that are forced to make impossible compromises at the expense of the working class.

they keep wars going for profit. they play with our lives for profit.

that includes people who spread misinformation in order to suppress voter turnout because they falsely equated their vote to a personal endorsement rather than a chess move.

but if it makes you feel better continue to think of me as a biden loving fool who you can write off in your culture war against whatever.

i'll be here doing direct action, calling for unionization, and getting people out to vote especially in local elections.

not a fan of biden, but saying he took away abortion rights is literally wrong and anyone reading this should question why someone would frame it that oversimplified way.

for work i have to have like 3 PDFs open, my IDE, a browser, etc.

it's nice being able just switch to a clean desktop to browse the internet or write an email without messing up my window placement or getting lost in a bunch of layers.
