They will always deny you if you don't have 40 credits (at least 10 years of work). Your best next step is to find a local SSI/SSDI denial lawyer in your area and talk to them about it. If they feel your case is worthy they will guide you on the process completely, taking most if not all the work out of your hands as long as you continue to update them on changes in your medical status like upcoming doctors appointments and such.
source? myself, I was denied and now my case is in the hands of a lawyer and my medical review application is on step 3 of 5 when I nearly gave up before them.

hey you're welcome, and yeah, I think that I'll be able to get there with their help. I've been honest about my conditions and I understand that with SSDI I won't be able to hold a job or properly use my AAS degree but with the medical issues my body has I'd be useless in the first place ๐
Just be truthful with the entire process! Because they'll know, and you will get shadow marked for it.
