I think that perspective is too generous. When was the last period of competent, consistent driving from him? Also, he's been driving poorly from before the contract extension hence everyone's shock that he got resigned.

While obviously the marketing value is high to Red Bull, they make a lot of money from winning the constructors, if he's threatening that, I wonder what the sums look like when they net them out.

Get fresh blood in not someone to just warm the seat.

I support this however, I'd love to see more funding go to fuel management ahead of bushfire seasons. I wonder if this will make that situation worse if there isn't a correlational increase in spending there.

Jeddah is unnerving to watch. If I remember, drivers often report it being one of the most stressful and tiring races because of the requirements to be attentive.
