The log reading workaround seems to solve that issue in my case. The only catch is that I need to allow this permission once (there's a graphical prompt - the adb commands aren't needed) when I start the app for the first time, or after force-quitting the background app.

Why do you try to make Linux seem unusable? It's not "Linux"'s fault proprietary software doesn't work on it. Would you criticize GNOME, KDE Plasma etc. and any of the gazillion other pieces of software exclusive to Linux for not working on W*ndows to reach a wider audience next?

Very optimistic about this DWL fork - animations, rounded corners and overviews. But I wish it were trivial to patch DWL to include these features.

CachyOS provides optimised Linux kernels out of the box, leading to significant performance gains. I got a friend to install Cachy on his old computer, and his experience is similar too.
