@FartsWithAnAccent @ylai @Veraxus yeah. Them and Netgear are 2 companies I used to love and now I wouldn't use their products if they paid me to use them.

@FartsWithAnAccent @ylai @Veraxus Asus has been enshitifying for a couple of years now. I used to get their ROG phones year after year, until they sent me the last one without the Kunai cover (I bought the phone with the controller) and when I reached out to them they wanted me to send the whole thing back, phone and all, to determine if they would send it back with the cover to me. Beyond ridiculous. Returned it, got a refund, never looked back.

@TCB13 @inasaba not entirely accurate. CalyxOS, but albeit following a different process, also allows for degoogling and relocking the bootloader.

@oxjox @scrubbles I have a question. When you say they "grandfathered" you into Pro+, do you mean they accepted you to upgrade to the Pro+ tier for that one-time payment, "for life"? I am genuinely unaware of the meaning because English in not my native language and some phrases do escape my grasp sometimes.

@variants I live in Dominican Republic, where we have 4 seasons like everywhere else: Hot, Hotter, Hottest and Hell.

My Unraid drives are usually at 33 Celsius, and have seen them at a top temperature of 36 when checking Partity (once per month). It has been like that for almost 4 years now.

This is a place in my house that can see an ambient temperature of 32 at night when the AC is off. Never had an issue.

You'll be just fine.
