Yes, they count. As has already been said by others, “furry” when used to refer to the community is not limited to “creatures having fur” but is used broadly to cover all sorts of creatures including those with scales, feathers, etc.

No no no. I expect the two-leggeds to deliver me my food and tea in (two separate) bowls. That’s part of the whole deal and I’m sure my plan has no weaknesses at all.

This has been resonating a lot more lately and I’ve been deliberate about portraying my character as feral/four-legged in almost every circumstance of late. And if I were to be my character, increasingly I’d want to be the four-legged version of him. Just feels right.

Sure there’d be challenges but that’s why you get a supportive group that helps to create a feral-friendly environment where you aren’t always depending on others.

Just don’t be too bratty because when it comes time to take you to the vet… well. You know.
